Don't oppose Elon running twitter (at least compared to status quo), but I do disagree with the more generalized enthusiasm for wealthy people/orgs hostile-takeovering social media firms. That could easily go *very* wrong (eg. imagine an ethically-challenged foreign gov doing it)

We should have a lot more hostile takeovers, via weaker legal obstacles to doing so. They are a powerful under used way to discipline management. washingtonpost.com/technolog…

Something very exciting happened with @NexusMutual today. It started growing. A proposal went live that uses excess funds to increase capacity, so more cover can be bought. Every day there are excess funds, capacity will increase by 1%. The flywheel is starting to turn.
