doesn't matter whether it's mom, wife, cousin - when you bring food around a woman they don't want 100% of their own but wanna take 50% of yours.

tech bros not understanding that most people don't find any value in outsourcing their brain to AI is hilarious & I say this as someone who actually uses it regularly
it's pretty bleak to me how unpopular AI is in spite of how transformatively useful it is

main reason I stopped really talking about politics is because I realized people will remove any semblance of logic or reason in their convictions just to be with their "tribe" nobody has actual genuine thought anymore, everyone just tries to not be left alone at the lunch table

I feel like mindsets like this are only going to lead to an emergence of unabashed schadenfreude for unproven founders who lucked into vc connections
From a startup founder: “it’s now a red flag for me if I don’t see side projects on someone’s resume / application, because it signals lack of autonomy. Because it’s now so trivial to build anything on the side, vs before.”

half the comments under every tweet is OF accounts run by some type of AI or bot leaving comments that sound like they're on LSD. dead internet theory is so funny to see play out man

this must be how paul revere felt when everyone else finally started seeing the british coming
Go fuck yourself, Elon. You screwed us over by cutting the weekly limits on Grok Bot. You took advantage of that limit display glitch to fuck us in the ass, and even the people who weren’t hit by the glitch including me, still watched their Ultra limit melt away like snow in the sun. You’re a son of a bitch. You lost our trust, you lost the trust of millions of users. Just go read all the people complaining. You’re not reliable and you never have been. You change the rules mid-game without telling anyone, you pull the rug out from under thousands of people and leave them fucked. It’s exactly like Tesla’s FSD, like that fake Roadster that never shows up, and all your other bullshit promises that always end up going nowhere. You were the one saying money wouldn’t matter anymore, except when it’s going straight into your pocket. That’s the real problem. And stop sleeping and sucking Elon Musk’s dick. Know that when the same man owns the digital public square, the AI, the satellites, and the means to send humans into orbit, while pushing his own vision of humanity’s future, the rest of us no longer really have a say in that future. The American Founding Fathers you seem to love defending with your donations didn’t trust kings. There’s no reason to start trusting billionaires.

U know elon is fuming right now. He hasn’t said a peep. He spent $500m and got nothing in return. He moved his companies to Texas which just flipped for the first time in forever. His shitty car company stock is down 6%. O he’s definitely cutting your grok bot usage more now

genuinely confused how any of these tech companies are making any money when the products and services they sell don't fucking work half the time.

I think we may have found the perfect litmus test for maturity
Every single "this is why immortality is bad actually" is pure cope.

people are constantly holding themselves back in life because they're unable to come to the realization of how malleable the mind truly is.

I have no idea why renaming AI is so bizarrely important to Trump. Nobody cares about the name he chose. Nobody is using it or will use it. And it’s not even technically accurate because “super intelligence” already had an agreed upon, widely adopted definition. This is the weirdest political hill to die on. It gains you nothing. Not a single ordinary American in the country, anywhere, cares deeply about making sure people say “SI” instead of “AI.” We are days away from a major election and this bullshit is the focus? Just baffling.

all this stuff happening with thin sweeney & epic makes me feel vindicated in retrospect for always having thought fortnite was a two pack of ass

it's becoming pretty depressing knowing that just existing is starting to require more and more seemingly unnecessary safeguards/caution, because the inevitable evolution of tech makes it more prevalent for bad actors to gain access to more of our personal information.

it has become some peoples' entire personality to say nonsensical stupid shit just to stuff their ears & go "lalalala you're maaaaaaad" when told they're stupid we need an online equivalent to punching these people in the face

recent discussions of how people in poverty should be forced to have nothing & die can truly discount how many influential people to the world come from struggle. we wouldnt have a lot of the world today if the less fortunate couldn't do anything but eat gruel & play with rocks.
