Who can actually get power permits?

Sure would be embarrassing to suggest Trump poles +15 by any measure
Miserable old hack
It is not necessary to be a reactionary to dissent from the conventional wisdom that a Democratic wave will sweep the midterms. In the fury and venom of Trump-hate, which has been, along with truly absurd Islamo-Marxist nostrums, the only discernible offering of the Democratic Party for the last two years, strategists may imagine that descent into political total war is an attractive option to the American electorate. It isn’t.
Polling is unreliable and left-leaning; Trump’s low approval rating is likely underestimated and remains ~15 points above the approval rating of the Congressional Democrats. Republicans have a large financial advantage which will presumably be applied as the election proceeds, to tout the remarkable record of achievement of the Trump administration. Trump accounts, lower crime, massive reductions in illegal immigration and deportations, lower prescription prices, high economic growth, deregulation, escape from the climate-change obsession, and the assault on wokeness, DEI, and the intellectual corruption of universities and unionized schools, which more accurately resemble daycare centers where young people are taught to hate America.
The more the country sees the field of Islamo-Marxist lunatics candidates who have been herded in from the fringe and now comprise the back-bone of the Democratic mainstream, the more appealing Trump becomes. After ten years the country is somewhat tiring of Trump, but he does pierce the pomposity of the political class.
The question Americans will have to ask is whether temporarily elevated gasoline prices are an acceptable cost to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of the Iranian terrorist theocracy. While Democrats continue to attempt to paint Iran as another Vietnam, Trump has rendered the Iranian currency worthless, driven inflation sky-high, forced gasoline rationing, and pushed the regime near bankruptcy. This is the most one-sided war in history between serious combatants—total U.S. combat-related deaths through this entire conflict have been no more than a bad weekend in Chicago.
Trump’s record of achievement is eminently defensible and should weigh more heavily than the vagaries of his personality.

Immigration increased house prices
The solution is to now make sure people who don't even live here can buy houses
See, no more immigration, more houses built solely for speculation
What could go wrong?
Latest by me. Canada's foreign buyer ban never worked particularly well and was designed for a time that has now passed. It's time for the government to either fix it by exempting new homes or abolish it altogether.

The two drivers of the foreign home buyer ban were increased pricing pressure and fraud
The latter of which were EXTENSIVELY documented and cited when the ban was enacted

When you look more broadly than one cherry-picked poll for comparison, the polling story of this election is actually quite interesting.
The pattern across all 11 of the final week poll results shows that the older the fieldwork, the bigger the miss. This points to a significant late stage shift in sentiment back towards Chow, not bad polling.
We polled the Toronto mayoral race in the field from Oct 11-16 and found Bradford +4.7. The final result had Chow +13 on the night. That means out of the 11 final-week polls, ours was the farthest off. If I had a do-over, we should definitely have also run a Wave 2 poll Oct 24-25.
I'm confident in our methodology, which is the same as many of the other pollsters on this list, and has been reviewed and validated by CRIC (the industry standards body for public opinion research).
I'm excited to continue to scale Build Canada's polling operations. We have big plans to do so. And I'm even more excited to be able to field polls at a price that democratizes access to public opinion research.
We're just getting started.
