The military occupation allows in a small trucks into Gaza daily, and some jerrycans do come in. The Sameer Project buys them from the market and distributes them to underserved camps.
There are so many ways to help and this is one of the critical ways to do so. It helps prevent disease and provides a clean source of water for people.

The UAE backed RSF militia continues its attacks on Sudanโs critical infrastructure, targeting the Haya Substation, which is still under construction, with a drone strike.
the militia also targeted a fuel pumping station outside the city of Haya, setting its fuel storage tanks ablaze.

Shihab Al-Arja is a father of two young children, ages 2 and 5, living with his family of six in a small tent in northern Gaza after their home was destroyed during the ongoing genocide. Alongside caring for his wife and children, he is also supporting his father, who is suffering from a severe infectious cyst and urgently needs surgery that is currently out of reach due to the collapse of medical services in the area. The family faces daily shortages of food, clean water, and basic necessities, while malnutrition and illness continue to affect everyone in the tent. With no stable source of income and repeated displacement, Shihab is trying to keep his family safe and meet their most urgent needs despite the difficult conditions around them. The fundraiser was created to provide humanitarian support for medical care, food, shelter, and other essentials, while also helping the family work toward rebuilding their lives in the future.

When our Gaza City team filmed this video on September 23, a bag of flour cost $20. Even then, families couldnโt afford it. The price later skyrocketed to $52 before falling to $26, then $23, all excluding the commission fees associated with money transfers into Gaza. Every one of these prices remains beyond the reach of families who have lost everything.
For a mother trying to feed her children, flour is survival. A drop in price means little when you still have no money to buy it. Your donations allow The Sameer Project to buy flour, keep our bakery running, and distribute bread for free.
