A narcissistic mother protects the golden child at all costs. Their hands stay clean. The other children and the flying monkeys do the dirty work. Fights. Lies. Court. Blame. When something goes wrong, the scapegoat is sacrificed. The system keeps the golden child looking innocent and the one who refuses to participate looking unstable.

Nobody is actually busy 24/7. People just reply fast to who they really want to talk to.
Harsh, but true.

When someone has been through trauma, the mind does not scan for what could go right. It scans for what could go wrong.
Not because they are negative. Because the worst case already happened once. The trusted person hurt them. The safe thing was not safe. The rug moved when they were not looking.
So the system stays on alert. It rehearses the disaster. It prepares for heartbreak before there is a problem. Exhaustion and overthinking feel cheaper than being blindsided again.
The overthinking is not the problem. It is a survival strategy that never got the message that the danger left.

The system wasn’t really designed by neurodivergent people. It was designed around the ones who can ignore the cost.
Those of us with anxiety, OCD, or depression feel the mismatch first because the 9-to-5, the open office, and the constant output demand punish the very traits that kept humans alive for most of history. Being ruthless means refusing to keep negotiating with a structure that treats your wiring as the problem.

YES! HE HAS NO HEART FOR ORDINARY CREATORS. AND I’M SERIOUSLY FRUSTRATED.
How much more difficult does he want to make things for people trying to earn a living on X?
This man is a trillionaire, yet he keeps making the platform increasingly difficult and expensive for ordinary people, especially those who are trying to build an audience and earn something from their creativity.
Let’s be honest. The previous monetization requirements were already difficult enough. You needed 5 million impressions within 30 days, at least 500 verified followers and an X Premium subscription. Even after meeting those requirements and getting monetized, earning anything meaningful wasn’t guaranteed.
Now, there’s another hurdle: 500K verified Home timeline impressions within three months.
But that’s not even what frustrates me the most.
The subscription prices keep increasing, making verification increasingly unaffordable for ordinary users. And when fewer people can afford verification, getting the verified engagement required to qualify for monetization becomes even more difficult.
Do you see the problem?
You’re asking people to generate engagement from verified accounts while simultaneously making it more expensive for people to become verified.
So, what exactly is the plan?
Does Elon actually want ordinary creators to benefit from this platform, or is X gradually becoming a place where only people who can afford to keep paying have a realistic chance of earning?
People spend their time creating content, engaging with others, building communities and bringing activity to this platform. They deserve a reasonable opportunity to benefit from that effort.
Nobody is asking Elon to make everyone a millionaire. Nobody is demanding that X give away money for free.
But if free verification isn’t an option, at least make subscriptions affordable. Create monetization requirements that reward genuine creators rather than making the entire process feel like an endless financial obstacle.
He has more money than most people could ever imagine. Why make it so difficult for ordinary people to earn even a little from the platform they help keep alive?
I’m genuinely tired of this.
If X doesn’t want ordinary creators to earn from their efforts, then it should just say so instead of continuously moving the goalpost.
People are trying to make a living, not compete in an endless financial obstacle course.

Protecting your peace looks like:
Ignoring messages that spike your
anxiety
Cancelling plans that will wreck your next three days
Being “rude” to your own toxic thoughts
It’s not selfish. It’s survival.

Other parents often say, “My child knows better.”
Parents of autistic kids find themselves constantly explaining that understanding what’s right and actually being able to do it in the moment aren’t always the same thing.

Learning to be okay with not knowing everything is a superpower. You don't have to have it all figured out by 25, 30, or even 40.

Is Rihanna really a narcissist?
Maybe that lady on TikTok wasn't lying. 🤷🏽♀️ Rihanna x Rocky feels more like a brand deal than love at this point.

Depression often looks like “I should want to do things” rather than “I feel sad.” The missing motivation isn’t laziness; the brain’s reward system is temporarily offline.

If you ever feel behind in life, remember social media is a highlight reel. No one posts the nights they cried about bills or felt completely lost. You are not late, you are on your own timeline.

Feeling guilty doesn’t always mean you’re wrong. Sometimes, you’ve simply been conditioned to feel responsible for someone else’s emotions.

My mum would say "manage what you have" and I used to think she was just being strict. Now I understand. This life will really force you to stretch 10k like it's 100k. You pay small small bills here and there and before you know it, you are checking your account balance with one eye closed. We are all just managing, honestly.

Psychological abuse (for me) has been the worst , sexual, physical I can live with, i cannot live normally after 50yrs of the psychological it’s literally killed my whole body, im 54yrs,i feel like a baby in a grown up world. I don’t know how to do life.
Severe psychological abuse doesn’t always leave bruises. It leaves a nervous system that still treats ordinary moments like potential threats long after the person is gone. A shift in tone. Silence used as punishment. Love that only showed up after you were already exhausted.
Then the symptoms get used against you: you’re “too sensitive,” “dramatic,” “unstable.” The injury is real. The absence of a visible mark just makes it easier for other people to decide it wasn’t that bad.
