We moved the Zephyr Cloud dashboard (1 host + 7 Module Federation remotes) from Rspack to Rsbuild 2 by @rspack_dev, then let Rsdoctor 2 drive the cleanup.
First load: 1,045 → 729 KB gzip (−30%)
Build: 112s → 90s (−20%)
15-route journey: 1,294 → 788 KB (−39%)
Numbers 🧵
Tried tsrs, the Rust port of TypeScript 7 by @Cloudflare and @voidzerodev, on our monorepo at @ZephyrCloudIO.
Type-check, 36 tsconfig projects, cold:
25.8s → 8.5s (3x faster)
Peak memory on the largest project: 2.3 GB → 0.9 GB
Module federation type generation, 7 remotes:
12.4s → 4.0s (3.1x faster)
Peak memory on the largest remote: 1.4 GB → 0.6 GB
We're exploring new application composition, rendering, and dynamic integration capabilities in Module Federation, with Modern.js as one of the integration scenarios.
Along the way, I turned our E2E tests into side-by-side visual demos to make capability differences easier to see and test.
More coming in Q4! These capabilities will also be exposed as framework-agnostic APIs, so any application can benefit. 👀
Didn't expect this one – at Ferrol, Spain
¡Hola, Region of Madrid! 🇪🇸 We’re thrilled to announce that we’re coming to Spain, beginning with Madrid. This will be our first region in Spain and second in the European Union. We plan to launch fully autonomous ride-hailing in Madrid in 2027.

The process: baseline first, re-measure after every change, keep only what pays off.
Rsdoctor 2 from @rspack_dev did the measuring: bundle reports plus its agent CLI's tree-shaking view, which caught a Sentry namespace import keeping every export alive.
