A Historic Confluence of Two Ancient Guru Peethams – Celebrating 2507 Years of Spiritual Legacy!
In a sacred expression of devotion and reverence, devotees and esteemed officials of the Paschimamnaya Dwarka Sharada Peetham performed Pada Pooja to Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswati Mahaswami Ji of the Moolamnaya Sarvajna Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, during His visit as part of the Gujarat Vijaya Yatra.
The divine occasion took place on 2 November 2026 at Sri Rajarajeshwari Tripurasundari Mata Mandir, Kailash Dham, Dwarka Sharada Peetham Branch, Shankaracharya Nagar, Kheda, Matar, Gujarat.
The occasion holds profound significance, bringing together two of India's most revered spiritual institutions, each carrying a 2507-year-old traditional legacy rooted in the teachings of Adi Shankaracharya.
The Moolamnaya Sarvajna Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham and the Paschimamnaya Dwarka Sharada Peetham represent the enduring light of Advaita Vedanta, the preservation of Vedic traditions and the uninterrupted continuity of the Jagadguru Parampara.
This sacred Pada Pooja stands as a symbol of mutual reverence, spiritual kinship and the timeless unity of the Amnaya Peethams in upholding Sanatana Dharma.

The fake narrative that Bhagawadpaadal was born around the 8th century AD is a deliberate attempt by missionaries to place Bhagawadpaadal after Christ.
This is nothing but a blatant lie.
One question which arises is that why we date Adi Sankaracharya to 509BCE?

Pushya Nakshatra, Shukla Panchami AND Nandana Samvatsara:
How?
509BCE is Nandana Samvatsara and Jyotish wise that date fits with a verse showing calculation for the date of Adi Sankaracharya (screenshot of verse attached).
Kanchi matha has a lineage from around 509 BCE.
But otherwise also Dwarka matha takes DOB at 491BCE, Jyotirmath at 483BCE, Jagannatha Puri at
484BCE and Kanchi as 509BCE. (All quite close to each other).
A Wiki reference is available for this.
The only outstanding date of the Mathas is 788AD or so according to Sringeri matha.
Out of all the years available, there is a calculation I have shown from the records using ‘Ankanaam Vaamako Gatih’ rule (check video presentation around 10:42 mins onwards specifics on verse ).
Nandana Samvatsara is what is known from records and that triangulation with calculator on the verse yields 509BCE.

HH Jagadguru Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal has been giving darshan at Alwarpet camp since 6:30AM nonstop. Darshan will go on for a few more hours.
It’s to be noted that HE gave 7 hours non stop darshan yesterday morning and around 4 hours in the evening. 🙏🙏
Today I learned that the Tunga math previous Acharyas had no scholarship and that forced people to shift to Kanchi 🤦 🤦

Brilliantly recorded today by Advocate @MRVChennai before the 9 Judge Bench of the Supreme Court - the contribution of Sri Kanchi Sankaracharya in 1948 - known as Mahaswami/Paramacharya - a message from him convinced the Constitutional Assembly to include the words "or any section thereof" after the words "religious denomination" in Article 26. This addition made immense impact in the Article.
