Opportunity picked their bright shiny smiley dark-haired young female leader, thinking it was have the same effect that it had with Labour, when they rolled out Jacinda. That was a big fail.
People seethe now when they see Qiulae Wong, the Seek job site would-be leader who was corporately not politically trained. She has the most infuriating arrogance and smug entitlement, and no respect for seasoned politicians. She thinks she is going to revolutionise parliament and the country.
I hope like hell they get less than 5% and slink away in shame.
Opportunity messed up big time, and got that soooo wrong! Jacinda was no doubt our most despised PM, we did not want mark 2.

Another disgusting animal. I wonder how many pedophiles he let off with a slap on the wrist. To become a judge, other judges must vote you in as worthy of their deeply entrenched club. Makes you wonder how many more of them are in that club in New Zealand and Australia as well as the U.K and Europe.

Wow! This really is shocking. Fancy being told to keep your daughters inside the house and if she does go outside, to make she doesn't dress in a manner that immigrant men might find alluring. Or to rehome your pets because immigrants dont like dogs. Oh, and lock up your house, cars and bikes! It is absolute insanity. !!! How about, kick those animals out of the country and only allow people who are capable of acting in a respectful and civilised manner.
Today's NZ First Policy:
We Will Withdraw From The Paris Accord
New Zealand First is saying we need to get out of the Paris Accord altogether.
In our 2025 State of the Nation speech held in Christchurch, we questioned the logic of the Paris Accord the National Party signed up to in 2015.
National have said they will be doing their best to honour those Paris obligations. If thatโs true, up to $22 billion of our hard-earned taxpayersโ money is going offshore.
They say that New Zealand will never send billions of dollars overseas, but if thatโs true, why are we remaining signed up to the Paris Accord? Why donโt they answer that question?
Itโs just common sense that instead of draining our money offshore, into foreign economies, we invest it in looking after our own environment.
And New Zealand First is the only party that believes that.
Letโs look at the facts. Around sixty percent of the worlds CO2 emissions come from four countries โ China, United States, Russia, and India. New Zealandโs emissions amount to only around 0.17%.
Why are we making a rod for our own backs, punishing our farmers and our taxpayers and our economy, when China or the US could sneeze and produce more CO2 overnight than we do in a year?
How is that solving the โglobal climate problemsโ? The former longest serving Labour Party PM in the UK, Tony Blair, made a similar statement. The world is catching on and we are going to get left behind in crippling debt and a quagmire of regulations on our productive sector if we remain signed up to the Paris Agreement.
We need to stop this nonsense โ so why have National, Act and Labour all signed up to this free trade agreement with this clause in it?
If other parties have just signed up to the FTA with the Paris Accord in it, they cant then turn around and say they now share New Zealand Firstโs view.

The Greens have promised $253.88 billion of new spending and found $21.76 billion in tax to pay for it. That's 91% unfunded, $112,026 a household on the credit card. Clowns in clown pants.

The Greens blow through a quarter of a trillion dollars in new spending promises by week 7 of the Bribe-O-Meter, reaching $122,528 per household. Their planned tax revenue increase covers less than a tenth of that.
The Greensโ new spending promises now total $253.88 billion over four years. Their economic development plan, which the Greens estimate at $5.94 billion, carried them over the line. We have also costed their paid placements for student nurses, teachers and social workers at $310 million, and their package for a series of apprenticeship-focused grants at $402 million.
The Greensโ tax plan raises a net $21.76 billion over the same four years. That leaves $232.12 billion (91.4 percent of their new spending) unfunded, equivalent to $112,026 per household.
Their largest items so far are:
$96 billion to extend ACC to all injuries, disability, and illness ($46,332 per household).
$27.6 billion to increase benefits to a 'liveable rate' as part of their commitment to fully implement the Welfare Expert Advisory Group's recommendations ($13,322 per household).
$21.1 billion for a passenger rail and mass rapid transit package ($10,169 per household).
$16.2 billion for a student loan write-off ($7,829 per household).
ACT remains the only party promising net savings, unchanged at $17.86 billion, or $8,619 per household. Nationalโs total has decreased to $5.11 billion, or $2,467 per household, as we have included their 2 percent efficiency savings plan at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade worth $45.6 million. New Zealand First has added $66 million, taking its total to $51.87 billion, or $25,032 per household.
This week, information released under the Official Information Act allowed us to cost Labour's plans to expand the redress programme for survivors of abuse in state care. Adopting the full recommended package would add $1.03 billion to their total. They also add $28 million for a 'kids in sport' programme to reduce screen time.
Taxpayersโ Union Head of Policy James Ross said:
"Last week, Bryce Edwards claimed the Greens were tactically shifting to economic populism. Boy, was he right. Chucking promises around without a second thought for how to pay for them is populism at its purest."
"The Greens haven't released a fiscal plan, and it's clear why. Fiscal holes are always a bad look, but when the policies you can actually pay for would barely fill a footnote that's stretching the limits of 'creative accounting'."
"Voting opens in less than a week, and more than 90 cents in every dollar the Greens have promised is unfunded. With $112,000 per household heading straight for the credit card, the Greens need to get real and stop taking voters for a ride."

We have many immigrants living in New Zealand. We New Zealanders are accepting of this, within reason, provided they assimilate, appreciate the opportunity to live here and don't start complaining because they feel it was better in the country they came from. My main concern is Immigration New Zealand and who they allow to come in. Are they approving the right people?
