We got your back, New York!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

The Hangover. Mike Tyson admitted he was high on cocaine while filming the movie. His punch scene had Zach Galifianakis thinking about his own funeral.
Galifianakis recalled around 30 takes, with Tyson’s fist passing so close he could feel it against his beard. He had to keep looking Tyson in the eye and act surprised each time.
“Well, if this is the way that I die, it’s gonna be a really funny funeral,” he remembered thinking.
In a 2012 interview, Tyson said his drug use affected his speech and believed the cast must have noticed.
He credited them with supporting him through that period, and welcoming him back for the sequel.

Modders are finding new ways to make the PS5 do things Sony never intended.
They have managed to get Xbox Cloud Gaming working on a modified PS5, allowing players to stream Xbox games on Sony’s console.
At the same time, another project is working on running Windows games directly on the PS5, opening the door to PC gaming on Sony’s hardware.

Huge news, AnyPS5 has reached 100% GPU shader instruction coverage, a major milestone for bringing PS5 games to PC.
The project is working on translating PS5 game code so it can run on PC hardware.
Reaching 100% GPU shader instruction coverage means it has covered all the GPU shader instructions in its target set, removing one important obstacle to compatibility.
This could force Playstation to release games again on PC, GTA VI and other big ps5 games could hit PC with some work after this

As confirmed earlier through our official channels, in mid-June of this year, we unexpectedly received notice from PlayStation Studios that they would cancel the PHYSINT project. PHYSINT is an important project both to me personally and to KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. Determined to keep the project alive, we have spent the last three months searching tirelessly for a new partner. In the course of seeking advice and pursuing negotiations with people across many fields, we found in XBOX a partner with whom we share a common vision for the future, and we have decided to team up with them once again. Please rest assured that development of PHYSINT, our genre-defining action-espionage title, is ongoing and will continue moving forward.
