In case you missed it, this is BIG!: Ukraine has officially gained access to NATO’s procurement system! Ukraine signed an agreement with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), opening access to NATO procurement mechanisms. This means faster access to military supplies, fewer intermediaries, and new opportunities for Ukrainian defence manufacturers to compete for NATO contracts.

Friends, I've been contacted by the heads of Ukrainian hospitals and state institutions asking for help in obtaining generators. They are very difficult to source these days, and you know how critical the need for them is in Ukraine. If anyone knows how we could obtain these generators, or has contacts with suppliers, donors, or organizations that might be able to assist, I would be extremely grateful. All generators will be officially registered as assets of the receiving institutions, and their proper operation and maintenance will be ensured. All letters and documentation necessary will be provided. Below is a detailed list: ▪️ Fuel Storage Facility (Krenychi) 1 generator – 7.5 kW (220) To ensure the supply and storage of fuel for 11 boiler houses serving hospitals, research institutions, schools, and lyceums in Kyiv and Kyiv region: - State Non-Commercial Enterprise "National Cancer Institute"; - R. Dnipro. Oh my God. At least 13 killed in Dnipro - a Russian drone hit a train close to the central railway station. Many more injured. Looks like it was a deliberate Russian strike, not an accident.

🇺🇦 🇬🇧 🇳🇱 Ukraine secures major new British and Dutch support as Zelensky meets European partners to expand defense production, strengthen air defenses and prepare for negotiations with Russia. 🇳🇱 During his visit to The Hague, President Volodymyr Zelensky met Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten and representatives of Ukrainian and Dutch companies working in defense, energy and software. Their discussions focused on turning political commitments into joint industrial projects, including satellite technologies and a new air-defense initiative called Bliksem. The Netherlands announced €500 million in additional military support for Ukraine this winter, including drones and other defense equipment. A separate €1.2 billion non-military package over three years will support energy infrastructure, reconstruction, essential services and economic recovery. 🇬🇧 Britain announced an even larger commitment following Zelensky's conversation with Prime Minister Andy Burnham: £10 billion in additional financial backing, comprising £7 billion in economic support over three years and £3 billion in expanded UK export-finance capacity, prioritizing defense. London also announced £500 million in urgent military assistance for Ukrainian air defenses this winter. The diplomatic dimension is equally important. Zelensky and Jetten discussed preparations for the planned US-Russia-Ukraine meeting in Abu Dhabi, including how European governments can ensure their security interests are represented in the negotiations. Zelensky also met King Willem-Alexander, discussing Russia's continuing attacks on Ukrainian civilians and efforts to reach a negotiated end to the war. The emerging European approach combines immediate military assistance with longer-term industrial integration. Ukraine is seeking not only additional weapons, but the production capacity, technology partnerships and economic resilience needed to sustain its defense while negotiations remain uncertain.

🇷🇺 Russian strategic bombers are reportedly being armed for another possible large-scale missile and drone attack on Ukraine, with open-source monitors pointing to activity across several airbases. Military tracker @AMK_Mapping_ reports that four Tu-160M bombers at Ukrainka Air Base have been equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles, while preparations involving Tu-95MS aircraft are continuing. Two Tu-22M3 bombers reportedly carrying Kh-22/32 missiles have also been positioned at Olenya Air Base. There is supporting evidence of a broader preparation cycle. Satellite imagery examined by Defense Express earlier this month showed a Tu-160M being armed with Kh-101 missiles at Engels, alongside substantial Russian bomber deployments at Olenya. AMK identifies October 31 through November 2 as a period of heightened concern and suggests that Ukrainian energy and transport infrastructure could be targeted. Those dates, projected targets and missile quantities remain the monitor's assessment, not a confirmed Russian attack plan. The latest aircraft-loading claims have not been independently verified. Russia's preparations are particularly concerning as Ukraine faces continued attacks on its energy network and shortages of air-defense interceptors. The immediate question is whether the reported bomber activity develops into coordinated launch preparations. Until then, the evidence supports heightened concern, not certainty about the timing or scale of another strike. Sources: AMK; Defense Express/AviVector; Ukrainian Air Force.
❗️Regarding Russia's preparations for the next large-scale, combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine involving strategic bombers: 4 Tu-160M strategic bombers are now equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles at Ukrainka Airbase in the Far East. Two of the bombers are equipped with 10 missiles each. The other two are also likely equipped with 10 each as well. 4-6 Tu-95MS strategic bombers continue to undergo equipment of Kh-101 cruise missiles at Ukrainka Airbase. They will subsequently redeploy to Olenya Airbase in Murmansk Oblast the day before the attack. They will likely not launch more than 4 missiles each. What missiles could be used? - 50-64 Kh-101 cruise missiles - Up to 20 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles - Up to 10 Kn-23 ballistic missiles - Up to 10 Oniks-M supersonic cruise missiles - Several Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles - 8-16 Kalibr cruise missiles - Several S8000 Banderol cruise missiles - Hundreds of Geran-2/4/5 and Gerbera drones. Not all of these missiles listed above are expected to be used. These are just the maximums, in my opinion. It's possible that the attack will involve minimal ground-based missiles, and that they will be used in a separate attack days afterwards. In my opinion, the Kh-101 cruise missiles and drones will target energy infrastructure in the western regions of Ukraine, while any other missiles would target the eastern half of Ukraine as usual. Drones will likely be used to target energy and railway infrastructure. The highest threat is in place for October 31, November 1, and November 2. Due to changing light levels as we approach Winter, the attacks with strategic bombers will probably take place after 6am local time, as the Kh-101 cruise missiles require light for more effective guidance. This means that the attack may be split into two halves, with ground-launched missiles being used after midnight, and the air-launched missiles being used during the early morning hours as the sun rises.

🇺🇦 🇺🇲 The confrontation inside Trump's Ukraine peace negotiations is now coming into focus. Le Monde reports that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner spent nearly three hours pitching Ukraine's presidential chief of staff, Kyrylo Budanov, a postwar economic arrangement built around restoring Russian oil and gas flows to Europe through Ukrainian pipelines. The meeting took place on October 9 at the Shell Bay golf club in Florida. Witkoff presented the proposal as a regional prosperity plan: Ukraine would collect transit revenues, Europe would receive cheaper energy, and Russia would regain access to commercial routes disrupted by the war. Budanov saw something fundamentally different. According to a witness cited by Le Monde, he objected that the arrangement would recreate Ukraine's dependence on Moscow. “Our model is not Belarus, but Poland!” he reportedly replied. The meeting was interrupted, and Budanov called Zelensky. When talks resumed, news arrived that Trump had announced a separate agreement with Putin involving Russian diesel. Le Monde reports that an irritated Witkoff then demanded that the Ukrainians accept the arrangement and stop striking Russian oil refineries, arguing that the attacks endangered the wider world. A source familiar with the Ukrainian delegation described its members as exceptionally distressed by the encounter. The account adds a revealing dimension to the commercial negotiations we have been tracking. The proposed Lukoil asset sale, Novatek's involvement in an Alaska LNG venture, the broader US-Russia list of business opportunities reported by the Financial Times, and now the proposed restoration of Russian energy transit through Ukraine all point to the prominence of energy deals in Washington's diplomatic approach. These are separate proposals, with different participants and legal circumstances. But Le Monde's reporting exposes the strategic disagreement underlying them. For Witkoff, restoring commercial flows appears to be part of the mechanism for producing a peace settlement. For Budanov, according to the account, those same flows threaten to restore Moscow's economic leverage over Ukraine. The reported exchange also raises a question about sequencing: why was Kyiv being pressed to stop attacking Russian refineries while Russia continued striking Ukrainian energy infrastructure? Le Monde's reconstruction relies on accounts of a private meeting. The reported exchanges have not been independently confirmed by the participants. Source: Le Monde

Damn! They was fast. Ukraine has launched its first satellite for its own communications network
🛰 Great news! Ukraine has launched its first satellite for its own communications network Himera, together with Denmark's GomSpace, has launched the Obria Nano satellite into orbit. With its help, Ukraine will be able to develop its own communications infrastructure, relying less on foreign satellite systems. The first test satellite of Ukraine's future sovereign satellite communications network is already undergoing testing.
