Most people in Scotland understand what
SNP UK LONDON
asset stripping looks like.
Scotland loses its resources, its tools, its ability to stand on its own.
But something similar happened to Scotland’s education system over decades.
Scotland wasn’t taught its own constitutional history.
Not the Claim of Right.
Not the Community of the Realm.
Not the fact that sovereignty sits with the people, not with Westminster.
Not the terms of the 1707 Treaty.
Not the rights Scotland never gave away.
When you remove a nation’s knowledge of its own foundations, you remove its ability to recognise when those foundations are being eroded.
That’s a form of asset stripping too not of money, but of understanding.
So today, Scots know their resources are being taken.
But many don’t know their rights are being taken with them.
That gap wasn’t accidental.
And filling it is the civic task of our time.☮️🌏⚖️🏴🏴🤔🤔

Tomorrow, the British Prime Minister will host an economic summit in Glasgow alongside the First Ministers of Scotland and Wales.
The DUP’s Emma Little-Pengelly has decided to block both herself and First Minister Michelle O’Neill from attending.
This is reckless and irresponsible. This is a reactive stunt driven by the DUPs own internal pressures and electoral problems.
The public should not pay the price.
It is a missed opportunity to make the case for investment, jobs, a fair budget and nurses’ pay.
Michelle has made clear to the British Secretary of State that locally elected Ministers are best placed to represent local interests.
Our focus remains on delivering for people across every community.

For a Labour Chancellor to declare during a Scrooge Budget in which a painful year is promised to his own people that he had “made the day” of a foreign leader by handing him an EXTRA £10 Billion desperately needed at home is such a cognitive dissonance as to be scarcely believable. That NOBODY in the House protested renders it a rubber-stamp assembly of a kind simply unrecognisable to a long-standing parliamentarian like me.

The SCC says
Every time the UK wants to justify something in the North Sea we hear closures,
CCS dumping, new taxes,
new control mechanisms they release a
COLLAPSE FORECAST
And every time, the forecast is politically timed.
UK Treasury framing.
Can’t be trusted in Scotland we know this
the pattern is scaremongering
Every time Scotland’s constitutional debate heats up, Westminster releases
Oil is running out
Revenue is collapsing
Scotland can’t afford independence
North Sea is finished
This happened in
1979
1997
2014
2021
2023
2026
It’s a cycle.
And every time, the North Sea keeps producing
The UK OBR forecasts are not neutral
The UK OBR is not an independent scientific body.
It is a UK fiscal forecasting office, for the UK and its job is to
protect UK
Treasury credibility
justify UK fiscal policy
frame Scotland as fiscally dependent
downplay Scotland’s natural resources
The UK OBR has been wrong every single time about long term oil forecasts.
Every. Single. Time.
They always forecast collapse.
They always get it wrong.
What about wind power
This is the part the UK never includes in its Scotland is doomed narrative.
Scotland’s offshore wind potential is worth more than oil ever was.
Not figuratively Literally.
North Sea oil total value
(1975–2025)=£650–£750 billion (real terms)
Scotland’s offshore wind potential (lifetime value)= £1.0–£1.5 trillion
And that’s a conservative estimate.
And it never runs out.
Wind is, infinite,exportable,stable
price secure
geopolitically valuable
already attracting global investment and Green this also allows the production of green hydrogen.
Oil declines Wind does not.
The UK knows this.
That’s why they want Scotland not only these revenues but to host
carbon storage making money from this dumping
The want Scotland’s
hydrogen pipelines
inter-connectors
energy balancing infrastructure
Because Scotland is becoming Europe’s energy engine, not England.
So why release “collapse” stories now?
Because the UK needs Scotland to accept
CO₂ dumping
CCS infrastructure
England’s industrial emissions
Europe’s CO₂ imports
And the easiest way to do that is to say
Oil is finished Scotland must pivot to CCS.
But CCS is not a Scottish industry.
It’s a UK dumping strategy.
Scotland needs independence now
Scotland gets
no refinery
no oil revenue
no CCS revenue
100–150 permanent jobs
all the environmental risk
all the fishing risk
all the liability
England’s CO₂
Europe’s CO₂
Scotland can’t afford to allow the UK to determine it’s future any longer the accept stripping UK assisted by the SNP
Have driven Scotland and the UK itself into a financial state of fiscal and moral bankruptcy
The false narrative that Scotland needs the UK
The truth
Scotland is not running out of energy the UK is running out of excuses
Scotland has
25% of Europe’s offshore wind potential
60% of the UK’s renewable capacity
the best wind speeds in Europe
the best seabed for fixed and floating turbines
the best inter-connector routes to Europe
the best hydrogen export potential in Europe
Scotland isn’t declining.
Scotland is transitioning to a bigger, richer, cleaner energy economy.
The UK knows this.
That’s why they’re panicking.
The SCC core point
This is scaremongering.
because the world is choosing green energy and Scotland is a world leader.
The UK is frightening the Scottish public to justify CCS dumping trying to weaken Scotland’s negotiating position and frame Scotland as DEPENDENT on the UK .
Reframing the discussion to distract from Scotland’s renewable wealth
It’s the same playbook every time.
Bottom line
Scotland’s future energy wealth is in wind, hydro and hydrogen not oil by choice and the UK knows it.
The UK OBR collapse narrative is political positioning, not neutral forecasting.
And it is being used to justify turning Scottish waters into a CO₂ dangerous dumping ground.
Let’s get the facts right

ISRAEL ARMS TO UKRAINE UP IN SMOKE
Yesterday, the container ship CONTSHIP JET (flagged in Liberia) was attacked in the Black Sea, approximately 17 nautical miles from Cape Kaliakra (within Bulgaria's exclusive economic zone), while en route from Haifa, Israel, to the Romanian port of Constanța.
The ship was carrying 421 containers of " unknown " cargo.
We can confirm that inside 40 of these containers were military equipment that would then be moved into Ukraine.
We can also confirm this was a shipment previously sent to Israel by the USA.

People are using AI to discover their phones and TVs are spying on them 24/7.
In the past few weeks people have found android phones taking secret pictures and Samsung and LG TVs secretly listening and recording what you’re watching.
People who went public had their AI accounts SHUT DOWN.
This is why they want to privatise AI. This is why they want to kill open source.

Leaked Israeli documents reveal how Benjamin Netanyahu's government waged a secret campaign to stop boycotts of Israel in Britain.
That included a "sensitive" meeting with Michael Gove -- when he was justice secretary in 2015 -- about countering the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement.
Israel’s lobbying campaign was led by its justice minister Ayelet Shaked, who met Gove in London in November 2015.
Shaked, from the far-right Jewish Home party, was alarmed by a European Commission plan to label goods produced on illegally occupied Palestinian land as originating from an “Israeli settlement”.
The issue was consequently high on Shaked’s agenda, with the Israeli government fearing that the labels would help pro-Palestine boycott campaigns.
Gove “enjoyed” meeting Shaked and specifically requested “more information” from the Israeli embassy on the labelling issue, the leaked emails show.
Israel’s foreign ministry then arranged for an analysis to be prepared for Gove “as soon as possible” on the imminent EU measures.
“I am aware of the workload, but there is an unusual window of opportunity here”, noted one Israeli official, apparently referring to Gove’s openness to guidance.

Israel just elected a new batch of Knesset members who make the old lot look tame. 💀
Like, how much more genocidal can this political system get? They’ve spent 3 years turning Gaza into a graveyard, and somehow the answer at the ballot box is MORE extremism, MORE bloodlust, MORE calls to crush Palestinians.
Wut kind of society keeps normalizing this level of bloodlust and then electing even more of it?

After independence
The way forward for Scotland is simple pay our workers better and build world class facilities for tourism and leisure.
Higher wages strengthen our economy, keep talent here, and create demand for Scottish businesses.
Investing in tourism, hospitality, entertainment, and leisure creates real jobs that automation can’t replace and builds a future based on Scotland’s strengths.
Our culture, our landscape, and our creativity.
Scotland doesn’t need to give away ideas for it’s future or wait for permission.
We can choose a better path by valuing our workers and building industries that make life here richer, happier, and more prosperous.
Speculate to accumulate building a better future for Scotland.
