Neobanks that experienced exploits/breaches in the last 30 days ↓ Aug 28: @avici - $500,859 drained Aug 28: @useTria - $431,945 drained Sep 11: @ether_fi - 15.45 ETH stolen Sep 12 @Revolut - Customer data breach Sep 24: @payy_link - $ ? We gotta fix onchain security asap. P.S. Worth mentioning that all losses from those projects were reimbursed.
Today at 4:21 UTC Payy’s bridge contract on Ethereum was exploited and drained of its full balance. Investigation is ongoing and we are following incident response guidelines. While we investigate, all Payy Network transactions are paused including deposits, withdrawals, transfers and card transactions. We will continue to communicate updates here.

right! this is to be expected. also worth noting, community engagement on this situation is important & overall helpful. its nice to see such a wide spectrum of opinions here. from daily retail users, cryptographers to miners and investors. speak out! teams will surely find this public input useful in their own business ops. the fix was seamless this time.. but its now time we coordinate and plan for the ever increasing AI attacks that will surely follow. time to harden and optimize.
There will be bugs. Pretending otherwise, is delusional. Software security at its core is a never-ending race between the good guys and the bad guys. The good guys always have to stay at least one step ahead of the bad guys. AI doesn't change this game of cat and mouse, it just accelerates it. Every piece of software has to run this race. There's no escaping it and there's no better team in the world to run this race than the team working on Zcash. Onward.

exactly
Stop using drug dealers for advice on advanced cryptography. Zcash's encryption will always beat Monero's decoy obfuscation. There's no debate here.

the windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror for a reason. because whats in front of you is so much more important than whats behind you.

this is great. i think its also worth noting that there truly is no limit to the price one might pay for ADD privacy to their holdings. the security and resiliance of bitcoin has contributed to the speculation of the price of that powerful feature.. but what if you can offer both? crazy!

2 years later and the thesis remains true.

Privacy stands as a towering challenge, yet with Zcash, it feels like the hardest puzzle is already solved. This level of privacy is not just an add-on. It's a fundamental cornerstone that empowers users with freedom and security, unlike anything else on the market.
