街がクリスマス色になると、
思い出すものがあります。
子どもの頃、近所のおばちゃんが毎年持ってきてくれていた、大きな絵柄入りの板チョコ。
当時は、「またこの大きなチョコだぁ~」なんて思っていたんですよね。
甘いものは少しなら食べられたけれど、
たくさんは食べられなくて、
いつも家族と一緒に食べていました。
それでも毎年、おばちゃんがそのチョコを持ってきてくれることが、いつの間にか私の中でクリスマスの風物詩になっていました🧑🎄
今になって思うと、毎年忘れずに持ってきてくれていたその気持ちこそが、私にとって大きな贈り物だったんだなと思います。
あのチョコを思い出すと、母と仲良くしていたおばちゃんの顔まで一緒に浮かびます。
