I understand Datti has been in the news lately for not so good reasons, but I find it hard to understand how many of you confidently dismiss his 2023 sacrifices. Let’s remember It was a struggle for Obi to pick a northern vice-presidential candidate then, as most northerners shied away from allying with him due to the circumstances of his candidacy and fear of the unknown. Datti was courageous enough to step up as Obi’s running mate. I remember his elder brother publicly acknowledged this.
Regardless of current political differences, discarding Datti’s 2023 sacrifices is a complete no-no.
