Later this week you will be able to listen to all of our songs we released from 2020-2023 as a fashionably late EP. Hopefully this makes it a bit easier for everyone to enjoy these songs!
Stay tuned for updates on our NEW music!#ReturnOfTheRat #ModernDayEscape
Here’s a riddle for you:
Five phases of rats, one from each.
One vanished yet reappeared
Two swapped but now play
Another adopted from a mischief
But one was always here

The things happening within and for @officialmde behind the scenes right now seem almost surreal! And no, that is not sarcasm or false hype. #Returnoftherat #weresobackbaby
“For the first time in a long time my band @officialmde is my new favorite band again since 2012. All of our scratch tracks for 2026 and beyond go so f*cking hard!”

2026 will see the return of the absolutely ridiculous song titles… yup, we’re going to that MySpace vibe, IYKTYK.
Maybe we let the fanbase name a song? 🤔 #newmusic
20 years worth of unused demos, lyrics, stems, unreleased tracks, rewrites of songs we felt didn’t get done right *cough* New Life *cough* plus reworked songs from side projects are all culminating into our 2026/2027 vision
We are all gonna enjoy these next two years! #ratpack
Maybe holding hands was fine… it was growing up that wasn’t such a good idea! Why the hell did we do that 😂! #ratpack
2026-2027 MDE is going to feel like a love letter to our 2008 EP & 2010’s House Of Rats. It’s for all of you, not us! #RatPack
Yes, new music is indeed coming in 2026! Our next single is due to start tracking next month! #2026 #music
