IMPORTANT - Apple sent us an App Store letter that said we must remove our recon calculator from the app. Recon will remain in the desktop and web app versions. We will of course comply. It’s a tiny feature that isn’t at the core of our product. Stacks and Logs will remain in app. They claim you can only include recon tools if you are a doctor, manufacturer or clinician licensed to prescribe these compounds. We do not prescribe nor recommend any compounds - we simply give readers tools to track and read about their research. This doesn’t really affect us because we saw this coming but we imagine this is the end for all vibe coded peptide tracking apps. Thank God we built our moat on community and proprietary data.

A once-weekly peptide pill targeting amylin + GLP-1 + GIP + glucagon is in development. According to Ascletis, its oral amylin candidate ASC36o showed a roughly 7-day half-life and 6-8% oral bioavailability in monkeys. The company is also developing combination tablets that pair it with peptides targeting the other three receptors. ASC36o is already in a U.S. Phase 1 trial, with human pharmacokinetic data expected by the end of 2026. The four-target combination remains preclinical, but the goal is to deliver all four mechanisms in a single weekly tablet.

Doctors for America wants the White House to block FDA’s interim peptide compounding policy. The policy is under review at the White House budget office (OMB). DFA’s Oct 16 statement asks OMB to reject it and return it to FDA instead of clearing it. They name BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, MOTS-c, Epitalon and Semax, the six that passed the July PCAC vote. FDA staff had recommended against all seven. What they want instead: > Full rulemaking before any peptide is added to the Bulks List > FDA’s identity, impurity and immunogenicity reviews made public > No enforcement discretion for peptides FDA hasn’t placed in Category 1 On the other side, the American Academy of Peptide Medicine is pushing to get these peptides onto the interim bulks lists. NOTE: The statement says the panel voted 8-6. That split applies to BPC-157, TB-500 and KPV. MOTS-c passed 7-5, Epitalon 7-4 and Semax 8-5. The policy text still isn’t public and nothing has taken effect.

New JAMA Network Open study: Penn researchers used AI to read nearly 150,000 Reddit posts on gray-market retatrutide. Most reported symptoms (7,823 users): > Increased appetite 17.1% > Fatigue 15.2% > Increased energy 12.4% > Nausea 11.6% Compared with semaglutide and tirzepatide, retatrutide posts leaned more toward appetite, sleep and heart rate. The authors couldn’t verify product, dose or purity. We’ve been building our own dataset. 115 anonymous retatrutide reports on Reptides so far: > Positives (88 answered): fat loss (78), appetite suppression (56), mood/focus (15) > Side effects (77 answered): heart rate (26), GI/nausea (24), appetite change (18), fatigue (16), sleep disruption (14) > 3.69/5 average rating > 68 of 91 would research again Self-reported, not a controlled study. Retatrutide is still investigational.

Hims & Hers ($HIMS) stock rose about 6% on Oct 15 after HHS and FDA sent the interim peptide policy to the White House for review. Hims has been building a vertically integrated US peptide supply chain: > Makes its own peptide API at a California plant it bought in 2025 > Owns 503A and 503B compounding facilities > Sells through its own telehealth platform (nearly 3 million subscribers) > Already running validation and stability testing on API for the six peptides the July panel backed CEO Andrew Dudum has said they’ll wait for “full and final rulemaking” before selling the peptides under review.

Reptides has never asked anyone for money to be listed on our site, although we have been offered generous sums, I think we actually have a reputation for turning money down lol. We also have had people try to pay to move their rankings and haven’t done that either. We may be biased but reptides is goated. If you want to get listed on reptides the qualifications are simple. You have to be willing to speak to us over a virtual meeting with cameras on and non-anonymous AND you have to be willing to receive a ranking based on what we discover.

Peptide access just took a massive step forward. According to Reginfo(dot)gov, the FDA submitted its "Interim Access Policy for Compounding Using Certain Peptides" for White House review on October 14. This could open a temporary pathway for patients to access certain peptides through compounding pharmacies.

A few things coming in the next Reptides update: 1. 169 new peptides/compounds. The goal is to give everyone, from those just starting their research to the most experienced biohackers, access to unbiased information backed by research and the tools to build their own research stack, all in one place. Full list will be announced soon. 2. Easier stack uploads. For those who track their stack outside Reptides, simply upload a Word doc or PDF, or copy and paste your text. Reptides will automatically pull the information and compile your stack in the app. 3. A simpler research stack tool, including a reconstitution calculator. For anything you track by weekly dose, select your weekly amount and dosing frequency, and Reptides will do all the math for you. More to come, including quality of life updates and UI improvements on both web and iOS. Stay tuned.

FROM WASHINGTON: According to The Washington Post, the Trump administration is developing a plan to allow temporary access to certain peptides through compounding pharmacies. Separately, the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding has submitted its own proposal to FDA, pushing for access to: - BPC-157 - KPV - TB-500 - MOTS-c - Semax - Epitalon APC's proposal calls for patient-specific prescriptions, validated sourcing, clear patient disclosures and safety reporting. The preparations would remain unapproved. This industry proposal also calls for continued FDA enforcement against "sellers of illicit or misbranded substances marketed for human use under labels such as 'For Research Use Only.'" Overall, a framework like APC's could push the peptide market closer to the pharmacy/prescriber model while maintaining enforcement pressure on the gray market. The administration's reported plan remains unannounced. Timing and final terms are still unclear, and it has not been confirmed that APC's framework will be adopted.

FDA records show that Chengdu Shengnuo Biopharm was placed on Import Alert 66-40 on September 19, allowing its drug shipments to be detained without physical examination. Its parent company subsequently announced it would halt all peptide API sales and shipments to the U.S. until the restriction is lifted. The company says August inspections conducted by FDA produced eight observations, including contamination-control and quality-system concerns. U.S. sales accounted for 32.83% of the group's revenue in H1 2026.

Court filings show that Legendary Peptides moved to dismiss Eli Lilly's retatrutide lawsuit on October 2. Legendary argues Lilly has not connected its alleged losses to Legendary's conduct. It points out that Lilly does not sell retatrutide and that two Reddit posts cited as evidence of diverted sales do not mention Legendary. Lilly's complaint alleges lost sales of its approved medicines and reputational harm.
