I think there's a quiet grief in realizing that becoming yourself might mean disappointing people who loved the version of you that never challenged anything. But you can't spend your whole life being easy to understand at the expense of being honest with yourself.

It's not a more accurate interpretation but a lot of times, it's just as valid..... You don't experience yourself the way others experience you..... That would be impossible. So there's always an interpretation that others have, that you aren't aware of.
