Jason Kenney is now and always has been a liberal who wears a blue tie.
The famous 2021 “Sky Palace” patio photo shows a dinner on the Federal Building terrace in Edmonton with Premier Jason Kenney, Health Minister Tyler Shandro, Environment Minister Jason Nixon, Finance Minister Travis Toews, and two senior staff (Larry Kaumeyer and Pam Livingston).
Of the elected officials in that group, only Jason Nixon is still a sitting politician. He remains the UCP MLA for Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House-Sundre and is currently Alberta’s Minister of Finance.
The others are not:
Jason Kenney left the legislature in 2022, when his leadership review support was only 51%, and is no longer in elected office.
Tyler Shandro lost his Calgary-Acadia seat in the 2023 election.
Travis Toews did not seek re-election in 2023.
This photograph outraged a lot of people, including me. Albertans were still facing distancing requirements, vaccine passports, travel restrictions, limits on restaurant patios, and other sacrifices. MAny had lost their jobs, their livelihood, and even their lives.
The gathering looked like the political class applying a different standard to itself: no masks, chairs closer than two metres, wait staff serving drinks. Combined with the location (made famous by another disgraced Alberta Premier) and the fact taxpayers funded the building, it read as hypocrisy and entitlement. Leaders imposing rules they would not follow themselves.
No one was ever held accountable for stomping on our rights during COVID. Kenney resigned, but that's not enough. Now that entitled fuck is joining hands with the likes of Rachel Notley, Naheed Nenshi and Mark Carney in opposing Alberta independence.
Never forget who the real Jason Kenney is.
We are birds of a feather.
I'm not here for clicks
I'm not here for chicks
I'm not here for followers
I'm not here for money
I have no interest in being a politician
I have no interest in being an "influencer"
I have no interest in being famous
I have no interest in being a role model
The #1 reason I'm here is to do whatever I can to support the province of Alberta Canada's quest to become an Independent Republic and break free of a corrupt woke liberal government that is embracing China and treating the United States as an adversary
This is our "1776" moment - God be with us

I think it’s unacceptable that Canada’s paper of record is publishing views calling the Premiers of SK and AB “traitors” for defending their economies. Did anyone call the ON premier a traitor for not accepting tariffs on the auto sector? Or the Maritime premiers for not accepting restrictions on seafood trade in retaliatory tariffs?
We are constantly told that what is good for the East is good for Canada, but what is good for the West is only good for the West.
I HAVE TO circulate this to the group AGAIN!

Edmonton, Alberta.
As many of you may recall, I broke the story on the birth of Rachel Notley and Jason Kenney's son just last week.
Now with Rachel out on the road making her case against Alberta independence, and Jason enjoying a sleepover at Naheed Nenshi's house as allowed by Naheed's mom, word has it there's some tension in the air regarding Jason's loyalties.
Danielle Smith, always the bridge builder, has graciously stepped in to help care for their son, baby Douglas Ford Kenny. Weighing in at 22 pounds, 7 ounces at birth, little Douglas is growing fast and now tips the scales at 48 pounds, 2 ounces.
When reached for comment, Smith said, "We're all one big happy family here in Edmonton and yes, Dougie can be a handful but I don't mind helping out at all."
He's such a delight to be around and he certainly loves his cherry cheesecake, which was followed by her signature chuckle.
"Oh, Jason just texted me," she added...
"He had a fun night playing Legos and dinky toys with Naheed in the basement, and they both had Froot Loops for breakfast.
Naheed's mom is giving him a ride home as we speak, so everything looks great. Alberta Day is over, and it's back to work for all of us."
I'll continue to monitor this story as it unfolds.

Jason Kenney hasn’t made a single truthful, or, intelligent statement since he left Ottawa to tame Alberta, so why would he start now?
BREAKING
Separatist leader insults 100,000+ Albertans, conflating their religion with terrorism.
Top separatist leader “Boss Hogg” Rath says the symbol below represents a terrorist organization, the Babbar Khalsa.
In fact, the symbol he dishonours is the Khanda, the universally recognized symbol of the Sikh faith. It would take a midwit to confuse it with the Babbar Khalsa symbol, below.
I am depicted below wearing the customary head covering at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India, where terrorist symbols like those of the Babbar Khalsa are banned.
This makes it even more clear to Alberta’s 100,000 Sikhs there would be no place for them in a separatist Alberta. The top separatist leaders below have said that in their Alberta Constitution, people born outside of Alberta will be barred from citizenship.
That’s about half the province’s population, including the vast majority of Sikh Albertans.
Don’t let these guys divide us. Get out to vote for unity and prosperity on October 19.
Will we be able to get a hard copy? If so, where and how much?
