Lots of fun in KS1 today with our Atkinson Victorian Life in Southport box! ⚓️ We explored Victorian coastal life, learned about the Mexican disaster and brave lifeboat crew, and enjoyed dressing up as fishermen and their wives! @ololprimary_HT #MakeADifference #HistOlol

5T have really shone during this half-term’s R.E. topic. They have been thoughtful in their responses and interested in their learning. 😊 It’s lovely to see our completed work up on display. 💒🤩 @ololprimary_HT #OLOLRE #MakeADifference

Always wonderful having @hodge_jo in school! 🫶🏻
On Monday we were lucky enough to have @hodge_jo with us for an afternoon of computing fun. We competed in Greek God themed @Sphero Wars and navigated the Minotaurs maze using our coding and debugging skills! #CompOLOL @ololprimary_HT

As part of Black History Month, and thinking about people who help us, RT and RA listened to the story of John Kent, the UK’s first black police officer. The children heard about his story, and all the brave things he did.

In English today, we practised performing some lines from the famous war poem “Dulce et Decorum Est”. We then freeze framed each section. #MakeADifference #EnglishOLOL @ololprimary_HT @ololprimary
