Holy shit honey, get in here. Apparently these DSA folks are **checks notes** using political strategy to elect progressives in districts where their elected officials have only focused on status quo.
Okay I know that doesn’t sound bad but when you hear me yell about why it’s not fair, maybe you’ll agree.
In case anyone was wondering why the DSA's next chosen primary is in Denver, 77% of the vote there went to Kamala Harris in 2024.
It's also the 2nd most gentrified city in the USA.
A win there might be possible, but it will only be further evidence that these kinds of candidates are appealing to demographics that Democrats already win.
This is not a nationwide strategy, and shouldn't be treated as one.
