I believe the human experience is fundamentally spiritual, and you owe it to yourself to investigate that possibility personally. Study the Torah, the Bible, the Quran and the Hadiths. Not to defend what you inherited, but to answer one question: What is the truth? I have always maintained that life only makes sense if it is eternal. But even if you disagree, consider how much of existence remains beyond your understanding. Your senses are limited, your knowledge is incomplete, yet your convictions can be absolute. How can you be so certain about what you have never investigated? Most of us were born into beliefs we never questioned. We inherited conclusions without examining the evidence that produced them. And because the question of eternity is deeply personal, the responsibility to investigate it must be personal too. Understand that studying is not simply reading. Research the history, geography, cultures, languages and historical periods. Examine context. Challenge interpretations. Question your assumptions. Most importantly, be willing to discover that what you have always believed may not be true. If truth is what you seek, you cannot afford to be more loyal to your beliefs than to the truth itself.
