HMRC's new customer system will cost somewhere between £1.7bn and £4.4bn. Give or take £2.7bn. Bold to buy software like it's 2015. The entire sovereign AI fund is £640m.

as someone who works in the software industry in britain, i can't believe there are contracts and estimates like this. it seems getting these government contracts is incredibly lucrative in the uk, because the amounts are absolutely insane. £1.7bn to £4.4bn for hmrc's customer system? pre ai that's a crazy number. post ai it's still crazy. for a fraction of the cost you could hire britain's top 50 engineers and pay them £300k a year. over 15 years that's £225m. it would cost less and be way better than what will come out of this. put the rest into an ai lab and you'd have one of the best funded in europe. but no, it's an hmrc crm system lol.

I agree. The British establishment should apologise over slavery. To us. For allowing this pathetic, self-loathing, anti-white bullshit to drag on for so long. The answer, to any jumped-up Caribbean or African, is this - you can piss off. End of debate.

your gaming rig or home server is literally burning money while it sits there. @linq_ai just dropped a full breakdown on how to turn that idle hardware into a revenue stream. you just plug it into linqprotocol and let the network do the work. decentralized compute is the biggest narrative of the decade imo being a provider means you get paid to supply the backbone of the next internet. the barrier to entry is basically zero now. this is how you participate in the ai boom without buying overpriced stocks fr standard nfa but the setup is loud asf.

Or......democratised compute away from your greedy hands is a good alternative. #LinqProtocol
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people having RAM in their own computers is a waste and should be used for data centers "It’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer"

The @linq_ai team really just open up a whole new way for people to monetize hardware There are tons of GPUs, servers, and other computing resources sitting around with unused capacity, while devs and businesses spending crazy amounts of money trying to access computing power. If you’ve got - suitable hardware - Linux machine - server with virtualization or even - GPU setup with enough capacity, you could potentially become a provider on the LinqProtocol network Apply to become a provider, list your available capacity, set your own prices, and earn when developers use your hardware, pretty straightforward and I love the fact payments are handled as escrow through $LNQ token

this is the kind of UX decentralized infrastructure needs. the tech can be decentralized without making the experience complicated. linqProtocol is making that connection feel familiar to anyone already used to cloud VMs.

i always assumed decentralized compute meant a painful setup then i watched @linq_ai's new demo 👇 connecting to a 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗠 now feels exactly like any cloud VM and with LinqGuard monitoring provider activity, workload behavior stays verifiable decentralized only wins when it feels 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 as the cloud

Guys be very very careful
someone can hack your phone by sending you a telegram sticker and you don’t even have to open it a security researcher just showed that telegram’s animated stickers have a zero-click vulnerability rated 9.8 out of 10, that’s almost as critical as it gets you receive the sticker, telegram automatically processes it to show you a preview, and that’s it. code runs on your phone, no tap needed, no link clicked, nothing the worst part? telegram is saying the bug doesn’t exist. they claim their servers validate every sticker so this is “technically impossible.” meanwhile the researcher presented proof at a security conference in tokyo and the flawed code is still live in the app there’s no patch. the vulnerability was reported months ago and telegram hasn’t fixed it go to Settings → Privacy and Security → Messages and restrict who can message you. right now that’s the only thing between you and a sticker that owns your phone the app 300 million crypto users trust with their group chats doesn’t even acknowledge the door is open

Dear @ukhomeoffice my good friend @BakrB_s speaks English, French, Arabic & Berber. He is hardworking and intelligent, why not seek out hard working people like this? P.S he doesn't want to leave Morocco because he said he wasn't sure about moving to the developing world.

Hidden away on page 111 of the Budget - 'The government is providing £150 million capital investment in 2027-28 to fund additional large sites to accommodate asylum seekers' A treasonous decision. Every penny of that should be directed towards a programme of mass deportations.
