Playing Castelnuovo 1539 by @DracoIdeas. The Turks have penetrated the northern wall of the fortress, their Azabs and Janissaries are weakened but they have a foothold. Their artillery has also made a breach in the east, and they have another wave of Sipahis and Azabs coming down from the north. Spanish Pikemen and Arquebusiers need to start launching counter-attacks and push back the attackers. I'm loving this game. It's like a "tower defence" but the defender has to be very aggressive and active in shoring up their lines. Battles are very bloody too.
