To give Ted Cruz some credit he has always taken his opponents seriously and did sound the alarm on a couple of issues regarding the Trump admin.
Replying to @PatrickSvitek
Cruz: "Too many Republican politicans seemed like they didn’t understand or they didn’t care" about the cost of living.
"Tariffs have made everything too expensive, and the Iran war has dragged on too long. It should’ve been brief, decisive and over. It needs to end."
I think they are taking a victory lap because many of the candidates they recruited are about to give them a nice majority. I believe that is worth celebrating, actually!

Agencies won’t call it yet, but based on the latest vote drops you can call Mississippi for Colom. Democrats flipping a U.S. Senate seat in Mississippi is about the craziest thing I can remember since Democrats flipped the senate race in South Carolina…less than 24 hours ago
If you want the job run for it lol.
Van Hollen tells me Democrats should not commit to voting for Schumer or anyone else for leader without getting commitments for a bold agenda bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
The bottom fell out so bad they elected somebody gay in Texas. I fear it is a purple state.
Meet the new Chief Justice of Texas.
Maggie Ellis, a Democrat.
And the first LGBTQ person elected statewide in Texas: kxan.com/news/your-local-ele…
I think he does but I don’t really see him as a viable option for Republicans. Anyone tied themselves so closely to Trump can’t be the ring leader. I see Nikki Hailey or somebody else tryna take the mantle.
The strategy of let a dumb nigga be a dumb nigga is so crazy to me. They absolutely deserved to be fired because they — specifically Hegseth and Rubio — are awful at their jobs and really thought letting Trump redecorate DC while people can’t afford groceries was a good idea.

54 seats and counting.
And I learned how to grill…these burgers and dogs are fully cooked.
Mind you, the people who lost actually were a little popular in Texas. Ted Cruz looking at this result and has to be sweating.

I 100% agree and believe him (obviously for different reasons). How can you campaign on an issue that proliferated under your watch and ask people to give you another term to fix it? That just doesn’t make sense.
“I blame this on @GregAbbott_TX. I blame it on @DanPatrick . I blame it all on our leadership. Thinking they’re going to go for four terms as Governor. Four terms as Lt. Governor. Seriously?! If they campaigned on lowering your property taxes all that did is remind everybody why you didn’t do it 12 years ago.” - @DonHuffines #txlege
Mf couldn’t even keep his own seat but was tasked with protecting others😂. I would just be pissed omg.
Democrats achieve a shock defeat of the Chairman of the National Republican Campaign Committee, their campaign arm charged with defending their majority. @Ojeda4America wins a stunning upset of Richard Hudson (R) whose loss will become a symbol of what happened in the House today
