I see that @Airbnb users are speaking their minds about how some hosts behave in a nightmarish manner. Good to see that after my experience in New Jersey, during the WC, I am not alone…

An @OfficialAPCNg spokesman is confirming to Nigerians, on @ARISEtv, that Ministers in @officialABAT’s government paid for their ministerial positions. January 2027 will soon be here. Vote wisely. Or else…
During my interview with Alwan Hassan, APC Presidential Campaign Council spokesman, on Arise TV’s Prime Time, he alleged that “a lot of ministers pay billions and billions” to secure appointments, and then enter office thinking about how to recover their money. I pressed him on the issue and reminded him that these are ministers that have been put there by the APC. He said the practice predates the APC. That makes the allegation even more serious. Who allegedly collects these billions? Who pays? Who is selling public appointments? And are Nigerians ultimately made to pay for it through corruption? If these claims are true, they demand a credible investigation. If not, Mr Hassan owes Nigerians a clear explanation. Who are the alleged beneficiaries, and will anyone be held accountable? Public office is a public trust, not a private investment to be recouped at taxpayers’ expense.

Following the October 21st @SAFA_net media release that the FA will pay the legal bills for SAFA President Danny Jordaan and CFO Gronie Hluyo, as they face a criminal trial for allegedly defrauding SAFA, I have received a message that a SAFA NEC member sent to his colleagues on WhatsApp. I post the message in full: “Good afternoon colleagues. I hope you are all well. This group has quite a number of learned and highly reputable individuals. Leaders in your own right. Do we really suggest that we are all failing to deal with Danny and his executive? To the extent that publicly SAFA says we are taking the money meant for football development is taken to pay legal costs for fraud and corruption against the same institution he defrauded. This can only take place in the RSA not anywhere else in the world. By right Danny should have been out from SAFA untill his case is over. I emplore all of us to cha ge the gear. This man is taking advantage of all of us in this country. May we not approach a legal firm on pro-bono status to help us on this matter. I'm really fed up with Danny and his executive. If we should get opposition parties to help us out, so it be. The noise we are making is not enough or may be misdirected. We really need to up the game. May we not ge a delegation to go meet SZ? He is still one of us who may not appreciate these shenanigans taking place in SAFA. May we not visit the office of Public Protector to present our case? I'm really not happy at all so I believe you are. The world is in a bad state not because of bad people but because of the silence of the good. So provide guidance leadership. Thanks.” #SouthAfrica #Mzansi, what say you?

PRESS STATEMENT STAY INFORMED. STAY SAFE. Public health is a shared responsibility, and the right information helps us all stay safe. The Federal Government, working with the NCDC and relevant health authorities, is taking the necessary steps to protect public health and strengthen surveillance following the confirmation of an Ebola disease case in the FCT. There is no need for panic. What matters is staying informed, practising good hand hygiene, knowing the symptoms and seeking guidance from public health authorities if you suspect exposure. 📌 Remember: Ebola spreads through direct contact with the blood or body fluids of an infected person who is sick or has died, or contaminated materials. It does not spread before symptoms begin. For reliable information or to report a suspected case, call the NCDC toll-free line 6232, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Let’s stay calm, rely on verified information and do our part to keep our communities safe. #MinistryOfHealthNG

Politicians… You sang a different song about Tinubu in 2023. How times have changed…
Projects in Lagos, Campaign in Kaduna Amid Insecurity: What Will Tinubu Promise Now? By Mohammed Bello Doka 11 October, 2026. On December 3, 2023, a Nigerian Army drone struck Tudun Biri in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing at least 85 civilians who had gathered for a religious celebration. Among the dead were women, children, and the elderly. President Bola Tinubu did not visit. On September 2024, another military airstrike hit Giwa Local Government Area, killing at least 24 more civilians in what the military called a mistaken targeting of bandits. President Tinubu did not visit. In September 2025, bandits descended on Kachia Local Government Area and abducted 152 people in a single operation. President Tinubu did not visit. In July 2025, windstorms and heavy rainfall devastated five local government areas, displacing 6,172 people and killing six. President Tinubu did not visit. In August 2024, bandits attacked communities in Kajuru Local Government Area, killing four, injuring three, and abducting thirty-seven. President Tinubu did not visit. In September 2025, floods submerged parts of Zaria Local Government Area, affecting 476 people. President Tinubu did not visit. Now, after three and a half years of blood, tears, and silence, the APC has chosen Kaduna as the launchpad for its 2027 presidential campaign. The same Kaduna where 85 people were buried in a mass grave after a Nigerian drone bombed them. The same Kaduna where 152 people were carted away into forests by bandits while the president was in Lagos commissioning buses. The same Kaduna where communities have been orphaned by airstrikes, emptied by kidnappings, and drowned by floods. What exactly is Tinubu coming to tell the people of Kaduna? What is he coming to promise again? Since May 29, 2023, President Tinubu has visited Kaduna exactly twice. The first was a one-day working visit in June 2025 to commission a vocational training institute, a 300-bed specialist hospital, and 100 CNG buses, most of which were state government projects. The second was a private visit in September 2025 to attend a wedding and condole with the widow of a former president. Two visits in three and a half years. Not one of those visits was to console the victims of Tudun Biri. Not one was to visit the families of the 152 abducted in Kachia. Not one was to assess the damage in Giwa after another military misfire. Not one was to stand with the flood victims in Zaria. Not one was to confront the bandits in Kajuru. Instead, he flew to Kaduna for a wedding, shook hands, took photographs, and flew back to Abuja. Compare that to his attention to Lagos. In Lagos, Tinubu has commissioned the first 30 kilometres of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, a project estimated at over one trillion naira. In Lagos, he has rehabilitated the Third Mainland Bridge at a cost of 43 billion naira and built a 2.5 billion naira CCTV monitoring centre. In Lagos, he inaugurated the Red Line Rail, a 37-kilometre project costing over 135 million dollars. In Lagos, he commissioned CNG infrastructure in Ojota, part of a 100 billion naira national rollout, with four major projects in a single day. In Lagos, the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano road, a project inherited from Buhari, was revoked and re-awarded at a higher cost, while the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway received 43 billion naira for phase two. Lagos is where the president's heart beats. Kaduna is where his promises go to die.

You want to be President of #Nigeria in your 80th year and possibly be an Aso Rock occupant till you’re 87? Capital NO!
ATIKU LAUNCHES ‘ASK AA’ PORTAL TO OPEN DIRECT CHANNEL TO NIGERIANS The African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has unveiled Ask AA, an information and citizen-engagement portal that gives Nigerians a direct opportunity to ask him questions about his political agenda, record in public service and plans for the country. The portal goes live at 8:30 p.m. today, 15 October 2026. The free-access platform allows Nigerians to submit questions on issues including the economy, security, technology, job creation and Atiku’s plan to make life more affordable. Atiku will respond personally to questions, while his media team will also help provide answers. Powered by technology, Ask AA is designed to help bridge the information gap between voters and the ADC presidential candidate by making it easier for citizens to engage with him and access information about his positions and proposals. “The objective of this initiative is to bring Atiku Abubakar closer to the electorate through a practical, problem-solving platform,” said Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication for the ADC Presidential Campaign Council. Shaibu added that the initiative reflects Atiku’s commitment to using modern technology to make government more efficient, secure and effective. For communities without internet access, the campaign plans to make the platform accessible through a radio interface. In announcing the initiative on his social media accounts, Atiku said he conceived Ask AA because he believes that “leadership is a two-way conversation.” He said: “For too long, governance has felt distant—locked behind walls of bureaucracy. But our country’s greatest resource isn’t oil or land; it is our people. If we are going to build the Nigeria of our dreams, we must start by tearing down the walls between leaders and the people. “That is why I am launching Ask AA—a direct citizen-engagement platform built for transparency, accountability and dialogue. No filters, no intermediaries. “Whether you want to question my economic record, discuss my policy plans for technology, security and job creation, or share your own recommendations for national progress, nothing is off the table. I want to hear your questions, your policy critiques and your best ideas. “Beyond answering questions here, I will personally call selected citizens who leave their contact details so I can hear directly about their experiences and the issues affecting their daily lives. “A transparent, technology-driven government is not a promise for tomorrow. It begins with how we listen to you today. “I’m logged in and ready. If you could ask me one question, what would it be?” Signed: Phrank Shaibu Director of Strategic Communication ADC Presidential Campaign Council 15 October 2026

The extent of delusion in this our generation is actually scary and worrying. It is so troubling that even in places you expect common-sense, the level of blind commitment to destructive delusional fantasy is just mind-blowing. Omo ehn. The rude awakening that awaits all of us.

A very reliable source tells me that the Normalisation Committee to be set up for @thenff will have a tenure that will expire on May 31st 2027. That is what has been tabled for the @FIFAcom Council to approve. @CAF_Online President Patrice Motsepe is said to be in agreement with this plan.
