oscconfessions

ALT guys PLEASE if you have a favorite osc creator LOOK INTO THEIR NON OSC WORK!!! diamondcup67 has some of the most unique, well written, & funny short bill wurtz inspired shorts and NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THEM and it makes me so sad.

ALT does inanimate insanity even have a writing team? last time I checked there was only Brian. does writing teams even exist in object shows? hello, where are you writers? hello?

ALT Everyone and their mom will ship pinfries as soon as IDFB starts pumping out more episodes trust me...

ALT If TPOT pulled anything like how BFDIA treated Leafpin you'd never hear the end of it but guys it's ok BFDIA is doing it they can completely forget a whole piece of character development and get away with it, they can force in a plot line for tennis Ball based on one singular line by

ALT Needle even if it conflicts with Golf Ball's character that season, they can constantly hype up a villain (evil leafy) that they do absolutely nothing actually consequential with because it's BFDIA guys we can let that go and hate on One who actually causes real lasting consequences

ALT I had a nightmare about IV, it had a scene where Fan talks about how MePhone4 was like a father to him. I woke up fucking terrified, that was a horrible HORRIBLE nightmare.

ALT wish people would stop generalizing ship fanbases. so many confessions about meh evil fubble shippers but ive been getting fantree/lightfan strays hurled at me for years solely because im a huge fubblehead — id never say all their shippers are horrible because its just not true

ALT its just childish seeing people butt heads like this and be 100% sincere about it. esp when it starts teetering on vaguely homophobic territory. you dont have to ship what i ship, but im allowed to have lesbian ships as a lesbian without it being slop. just block what you dont like

ALT i stopped caring about bfdi and stopped engaging with the ii fandom years ago and honestly, all it did was make me appreciate the osc even more. there are so many hard working, talented, and creative people here. i think a lot of folks would benefit from watching some fandomless shows

ALT man trophbox is just praised for having two scenes and for what bruh this ship CANNOT be that good bro any ship with trophy is shit aroace trophy on top man i don’t care

ALT I think people who hate on Yuri/yaoi ships in the OSC w no explanation/valid reason r just homophobic

ALT book should win tpot just to spite those people who say her bfdia win is from whatever "pity votes" are

ALT I think characters like Pie and Tree should've stayed in BFB instead of TPOT (especially Pie) some characters would've probably done better there

ALT can i just say that i think balloon should have had more of an arc from bratty and bossy to softer and kinder instead of that almost instant switch. also i can’t help but feel like a lot of the hate towards balloon should have gone towards KNIFE!

ALT like don’t get me wrong i adore both of them but knife was up in here committing murder and balloon’s biggest crime was “TACO YOU SUCK” and what the fuck did he ever do to nickel?! he was never untrustworthy, just ANNOYING!

ALT tpot defeat 1 trilogy but everytime they say one episode one of hfjone plays and everytime they say 2 the second episode of a random ii season plays and everytime they say 3 threes death scene plays

ALT It's weird to me how many "matching" objects are treated as siblings but not Salt and Pepper, like is that weird to anyone else or?

ALT I’ll never really understand why people ship nine and seven. I feel bad for not liking it sometimes but i genuinely cannot see it at all.

ALT whenever I hear shoujo rei i think of bookcil

ALT I really like how after II18, Box gijinkas went from "cardboard cutout", "just a box" or "mannequin" to "rotting corpse with a box/bag on her head because MePhone couldn't bear the guilty he felt every time he looked at her cold and lifeless face."

ALT I don’t understand homophobic and transphobic users in the osc, like this is the gayest community you’ll EVER see no shit

ALT teardrop and profily are the best things to happen in post split

ALT a majority of object shows have unbearably bad writing since most are made by people who live in an echo-chamber of the same types of media and opinions (usually popular on twitter, tiktok, etc) being recycled over and over. -

ALT what doesn't help is that the object shows that ARE well written are held back by the medium in the first place and, unless the plot absolutely demands it, they would be better off as their own series. -

ALT if you are making an object show i BEG YOU to please look at other types of media that aren't the ones circulated online everywhere and you will have a much larger pool of ideas to pick from (and also read a lot too.. that helps)
