Being a medical student is so infantilizing, i have no control over anything in my life, no money, no autonomy whatsoever. Add on the fact that my friends outside medicine are in control of all aspects of their lives & we’re the same ages. When do i start feeling like an adult?

One of Grey’s Anatomy’s best decisions was casting Mr. Feeny as Cristina Yang’s mentor. Their friendship was such a highlight of Season 9. This monologue still gets me, but I hate that Cristina had to experience another loss to return to Seattle. Not every meaningful lesson needs to end in tragedy. 😭
