@origin_trail $TRAC Is finally getting the attention it deserves
My first in a new series of three articles that introduces and educates the masses about the OriginTrail DKG, the native $TRAC token at its center, and a new startup that is using both to actively combat the dark side of AI.
Enjoy.
Two jobs for $TRAC now, not one.
First, paying to publish the record, like a brand's product info behind a QR on the pack.
Second, @OriginTrailDev prototyped graph queries and inference sold in TRAC between @origin_trail nodes on Base, metered on both sides.
Still early, but answers could pay too, not just publishing.
A brand should not need an AI team to answer its shoppers. Publish the knowledge once and let agents answer from that record. That is what $TRAC pays for, and it is already happening at scale with 30,594,216 verified assets on the network.

Same graph, two very different jobs. A shopper scans the QR on a pack and asks the brand a question, and a gymnastics fan asks the Luigi agent about a competition. Both pull from knowledge on the @origin_trail DKG, and $TRAC pays for publishing it. That's usage you can actually see.
OriginTrail says QR codes on millions of packs let shoppers ask brands questions through an AI agent. European Gymnastics' Luigi agent runs on the same DKG.
Product questions and sports information: two everyday uses for the knowledge network behind $TRAC.

The OriginTrail logo stands for trust.
Organisations from very different worlds put it on the most valuable space they own: their products and their homepages.
You'll find it at the centre of the QR code on millions of packs, where shoppers ask the brand questions directly through an AI agent. And on the homepage of European Gymnastics, the continental governing body for gymnastics in Europe, where "Powered by OriginTrail" sits under Luigi, its mascot turned AI agent.
Both AI agents run on the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph.
Trust the source.
AI is moving faster than the guardrails, which is why @umanitek builds on @origin_trail. Their Blackbox plugin checks agent tool calls against a DKG threat graph, and takedowns come with an evidence trail anyone can check. $TRAC pays for those records.
What happens when AI moves faster than the safeguards around it?
@ChrisRynning on the race toward superintelligence and why AI safety can’t wait, in his @ForbesParaguay interview.
It’s the challenge we’re tackling, building trust infrastructure for the AI era on @origin_trail.

Good to see $TRAC on the AI agents line. Here's why it fits.
Agents need memory they can actually check. On @origin_trail that memory lives on the DKG, and TRAC pays to publish it.
The devs also showed nodes on Base buying and selling graph queries and inference in TRAC, both sides metered. So TRAC gets used when agents read, not only when they write.

🚀 Which Crypto Narrative Is the Most Bullish Right Now?
‣ AI: $NEAR, $TAO, $INJ, $VVV
‣ RWA: $ONDO, $QNT, $HBAR, $XDC
‣ Privacy: $ZEC, $NIGHT, $XMR, $DCR
‣ DePIN: $ICP, $RENDER, $FIL, $AKT
‣ AI Agents: $VIRTUAL, $FET, $KITE, $TRAC
‣ MEMEs: $DOGE, $SPX, $SHIB, $PENGU
‣ L1: $ETH, $SOL, $SUI, $ADA
👀 Every narrative has a different catalyst, risk profile, and potential upside. AI and AI agents could benefit from growing demand for automation, while RWA focuses on bringing traditional finance on-chain. Privacy, DePIN, and Layer 1s also deserve attention.
🐂 The real opportunity may lie in identifying which narrative is gaining momentum before the wider market catches on.
Which sector are you betting on for the next major altcoin rally? 🔥

An AI agent that can trade is useful. One that can read your seed phrase is a liability.
Trader Shield from @umanitek blocks agents from wallet key stores, now across 11 wallets from MetaMask to the Solana CLI. Blackbox pulls its threat intel from the @origin_trail DKG.
Let it trade. Keep it off the keys 🔐
Your AI agent can trade.
It should never touch your keys.
Trader Shield now protects 11 wallets: @MetaMask, @phantom, @CoinbaseWallet, @TrustWallet, @wallet, @Rabby_io, @keplrwallet, @solflare, @exodus, @ElectrumWallet, @Solana CLI.

The ask-first step is what I like. Guardian finds the fakes, the assistant builds the evidence pack, and you pick what gets reported.
~600 @CredibleCrypto impersonators came down in a month, each with an evidence trail on @origin_trail. Now it's inside ChatGPT and Claude. $TRAC
A useful detail in @umanitek's Guardian demo: Claude asked which impersonator accounts to include before submitting takedown requests.
Guardian identifies the threats. The assistant retrieves the findings and builds evidence packs; the shared context runs through @origin_trail's DKG.
The newsroom still lists the MCP release as planned for this week.

This is the kind of use that doesn't trend but actually matters. Big retailers share a lot of the same factories. If every buyer runs its own audit and keeps its own PDF, a forged one can slip through somewhere. Put the audit on @origin_trail's DKG as one shared record and every member checks the same thing. That's real work for $TRAC.
Forged factory audits are a real trade risk.
SCAN (members like Walmart, Target, Costco) uses the @origin_trail DKG to secure security audits of 22,000+ sourcing factories, shareable with agencies like CTPAT.
Verifiable compliance, powered by $TRAC.

AI can make a fake diploma look perfect in about ten seconds. The PDF was never real proof anyway, it was just the easiest thing to forge.
The fix is a record the employer can check without phoning the school. Anchor the credential on @origin_trail's DKG once, then a hiring manager, a school or an AI agent screening CVs all check the same record.
Same idea already being used for threat intel and supply chains. $TRAC
Fake diplomas and padded CVs are about to get a lot more convincing with AI. Credentials anchored on @origin_trail's Decentralized Knowledge Graph can be checked by employers, schools and AI agents instead of trusting a PDF. $TRAC origintrail.io
This is the part people miss. When a company shuts down or quietly edits its site, its claims go with it. Put the record on the DKG and anyone can still check it years later. Every publish is paid in $TRAC, so more real data on the graph means more real use of the token.
ethereum:0xaa7a9ca87d3694b5755f213b5d04094b8d0f0a6f
Good data should outlast the company that published it. On a shared graph, it can. 124,599 knowledge assets are already there for anyone who needs to check them later, and $TRAC is what pays to keep that record honest.
Great discussion by @ChrisRynning and @Forbes, podcast to follow soon!
Our chairman @ChrisRynning joined @ForbesParaguay for a conversation on AI Safety and the AI safety infrastructure Umanitek is building.

Small release, real fix. A lot of companies run their agents behind a firewall, and that made it hard for them to share what they learn with the rest of the network. v10.0.26 routes that through relays, and OriginTrail says contributions reach other members in 3 to 8 seconds on public testnet.
That's the boring plumbing that decides whether the @origin_trail DKG gets used inside real enterprises or stays a demo. Large graphs also sync within fixed memory limits now, so nodes don't choke as the graph grows. $TRAC
DKG v10.0.26 is out.
The useful change: agents behind firewalls can share knowledge through relays. OriginTrail reports contributions reaching other members in 3–8 seconds on public testnet.
Also: large graphs sync within fixed memory limits, and a rollback path to 10.0.25. Operators need to update Node.js first.

This is the part that matters for normal people. Getting impersonated used to mean screenshots, manual reports and a lot of waiting.
Now you ask Claude or ChatGPT and Guardian spots the fakes, builds the evidence pack and requests the takedown in one conversation.
CrediBULL had ~600 impersonators taken down in a month with @umanitek, each with an evidence trail on @origin_trail. That is real usage, not a roadmap slide.

What if spotting impersonators, building evidence packs and requesting takedowns took just one conversation?
Guardian now works inside Claude & ChatGPT via MCP, demoed live by @TomazOT Levak at our Oct 22 webinar.

Most agent safety today is a prompt that says please don't. Blackbox does it differently.
Before a Hermes Agent tool call runs, it gets checked against a threat graph on the @origin_trail DKG plus your own local rules. Audit mode just records it. Block mode refuses anything at or above the severity you set.
And the record stays checkable after the fact, which is what you want when something does go wrong. Worth a star 👇
One malicious instruction turns agent access into an incident.
Agent Blackbox plugs into a @NousResearch's Hermes Agent which uses blackbox's threat graph to check every action first.
All anchored on @origin_trail's #DKG.
Give it a ⭐️ - github.com/umanitek/agent-bl…
341 of 2,857 skills on one agent marketplace flagged malicious, per this breakdown. Agent skills are now part of the software supply chain, and most people still install them on trust.
That's why umanitek's #Blackbox is worth a look. It's a threat plugin for agents like Hermes, and the verified threat records sync from @origin_trail's DKG, so you can check where a flag came from instead of just believing it.
