If the FIA can control the cars through software, do you really think the teams themselves can’t do the same?Of course they can make one car faster and the other slower, then claim the slower car is down to the driver’s driving style — or just say it’s a software bug they can’t figure out. F1 has basically turned into an AI racing war at this point. Replace the drivers with AI and the results probably wouldn’t look that different.
