Kenya has been experiencing milk shortages for more than three months. Meanwhile in Lari, Kiambu County, farmers are producing milk but the roads are impassable due to heavy rainfall. Residents are calling on leaders in the area to address the situation.

The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) has staged a protest march to Jogoo House in Nairobi, presenting a formal petition to Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja over the alleged abduction of advocate Abshir Ahmedsadak Abdi.
Lawyers led by LSK President Charles Kanjama marched from the Milimani Law Courts to demand the immediate production of Abdi, who was forcefully taken by armed men on November 1. The legal body is demanding an end to enforced disappearances and strict compliance with High Court orders directing security agencies to account for the missing lawyer.
