To continue making fun of @finebaum's Texas talk:
Among teams with a better SOR than Texas:
- Utah
- UCLA
- Kentucky
- BYU
- Wake Forest
Among teams with a better Offensive Efficiency ranking (Texas' Def Eff is #2; pretty dang good):
- Oregon State
- Louisville
- Boise St
- Houston
- Northwestern
- North Texas
- Illinois
- Army
- Colorado State
- Memphis
- Purde
- Texas St lol
- NC St

I’ve seen SEC Chanters on this clip talking about how Miss St smoked Minnesota so there’s your proof.
Well Purdue beat Minnesota by more than Miss St did. So per the Chanter logic, the Big 10 is better.
Did I do it right?

🚨We are so back! It’s almost November which means we get Paul Finebaum trying to explain how results on the field don’t matter.🚨
“I think Texas is one of the 12 best teams in the country, whether they lose two games or three games.” 🤔
@finebaum makes a case on why the Longhorns deserve to be in the College Football Playoff.

One of my favorite exercises in recent history is to listen to the SEC brag all year long about their vaunted OOC record, and then examine the teams they beat at some point after mid season.
With Georgia losing to unranked Auburn at home, Alabama losing to Georgia at home and by double digits to Tennessee, Tennessee losing to 3-3 South Carolina, Ole Miss losing by 24 to Florida and to Texas, LSU losing twice, and Texas losing to unranked Oklahoma and to Florida at home, the SEC’s chances of getting multiple teams in the CFP were significantly damaged.
Looking like a 1-bid league. Go get ‘em Kentucky!
With BYU and Texas Tech losing Saturday, the Big 12's chances of getting multiple teams in the CFP were significantly damaged.

Not only that, but Minnesota gets ranked if this happens in the SEC
"Iowa falling from #15 to out of the rankings after a 3 point loss to 4-2 Minnesota is stupid. They would never do that to a SEC team"

Breaking News: SEC Chanters find out that injuries actually occur in other conferences too.

Matchups where ranked SEC teams lost to unranked* SEC teams in the last 3 weeks:
UK > LSU
USC > UF
OU > Texas
UF > Texas
Auburn > UGA
USC > Tennessee
UK, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Florida and Auburn have a COMBINED 1-1 OOC P4 record this season (by 1 point!).
