There is this wonderful movement going on in the Bay Area in response to COVID-19 called @paintthevoid.
Paint the Void commissions artists to paint boarded up window fronts, an effort to bring some life + color to our somber streets.

Tomorrow! The fine folks from @paintthevoid tell us about how they’re brightening up SF’s storefronts, plus a word from one of our favorite artists, @AmosGoldbaum.
We still can’t be together, but we can definitely still sip our coffee together.

Thank you!! You rock! 💛
1/ For #GivingTuesday, MobileCoin worked with two Bay Area NonProfits: The Safety Net Fund (safetynetfund.io) and @paintthevoid to match the first $1250 in donations to each organization today.
We’re proud to announce that both of those organizations crushed that number.
Two weeks since launching #PaintTheVoid:
32 murals across the Bay Area
34 artists commissioned
27 windowfronts with added flare
... and growing! 💛 Thank you to everyone that has donated to enable this project. bit.ly/2YyfiSo

Thank you to @mobilecoin for supporting artists in the Bay Area. We are so proud to work with @Intersection_SF on this project.
Help us connect local artists to businesses so we can begin the process of civic rejuvenation, together.
For Giving Tuesday (5/5/20) MobileCoin is going to do a $1250 donation match for @paintthevoid and a $1250 donation match for the Safety Net Fund (safetynetfund.io).
That means that we will match the first $1250 donated to each non-profit that day.

Don’t you want your storefront to look like YH-Beijing instead of being a boarded up reminder of covid-19?
If a small business can do it, why can’t @neimanmarcus?
C’mon @neimanmarcus, we can both agree that this is a huge beautiful canvas just waiting to be painted. Let’s fight urban blight together!
We can turn this PR problem into a feel good story if we work together.
Let’s help rebuild public imagination.
