Given how well the Greens did, it is absolutely ridiculous how much the British media has ignored them.
They more than doubled their seats, despite minimal media coverage and the vast majority of voters having no idea who even leads them.

I end this piece with a list of 60 black British women novelists writing across genres, many of them debuts & the majority are not well-known. Look them up and see if they're for you, your reading group, your friends, different gens of your family. #Vogue vogue.co.uk/arts-and-lifesty…
Just watched the famous Austen play "Everything Emma Wears All At Once" and can concur it was better than everyone's fave Mr Darcy story. Brilliant performance by @AustenImpro, haven't laughed this hard in a long time. A great start to the week!

To celebrate #LGBTplusHM, the Pride team picked out some of the best LGBT+ books @HachetteUK has to offer! A shame we could only fit so much in our mailouts to the national offices, but that hasn't stopped Sheffield curating this gorgeous display 🪴
It's the @HachetteUK conference today and so far I have been most excited to see all the exciting books coming out in 2023-2024 from @dialoguebooks. Especially need to get my hands on Rosewater by Liv Little asap!
It's fascinating. As an immigrant I spent my late teens to early 20s trying to assimilate in a new country, learning their culture, rebelling against my own. And then I spent my late 20s desperately trying to hold onto my roots and openly being proud of where I've come from
Reading about the Israel-Palestine conflict and, of course, colonialism has a huge role to play in it. Continuing their legacy of worsening existing tensions between different racial & religious groups, the British divide and rule. All for their self interest. & 0 accountability.
Eeek my first achievemt of 2023 has been to finish reading a book every week. I got so lucky with the books I chose. Both took me on an emotional rollercoaster and had me absolutely hooked - The Giant Dark by Sarvat Hasin and The Color Purple by Alice Walker. Highly recommend!
Third book of 2023 completed with Love & Saffron by Kim Fay. A light and cosy read about food and friendship set in 1960s America. Recommend for some comfort reading 📚
I finished my 4th book of this year last week with @sarajafari's People Change. Highly recommend it, especially to those working in Publishing. Well developed, relatable characters. The story is full of heart & sincerity. I was hooked! Review up on my bookstagram - readwithpal
I am sorry what?? Is this common knowledge and I have just been living under a rock?

Another year, another Beyoncé tour that I didn't get tickets for. This is some sorcery that I have not unlocked yet

Happy debut publication day, dear @NatalieMarlow2! From the first time I read the opening pages of this 1930s noir beauty, I knew I had to publish it. What a start to an outstanding new series; I can’t wait to see what happens next! Congratulations! 🎉💚 #NeedlessAlley
