If you missed the teaser for #TheCaptainFilm, here it is. We did our thing on this film. This is just the beginning.
“Once you win, there’s nothing else to do but to win again.”
Derek Jeter is pulling back the curtain in “The Captain,” a multi-part documentary event coming in July to ESPN and @ESPNPlus.
I am not comparing them. I’m just sharing my personal feelings about the two franchises and their impact on me, both as an artist and as a person.
This trilogy is up there with Star Wars for me. It is just incredible, elite filmmaking.
Got dammit.
Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency.
But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.
I mean, this was obvious as all hell. Just an embarrassingly incompetent group of people in every way imaginable.
Understand one of the main reasons #MUFC have decided to keep Michael Carrick is due to financial reasons. Sir Jim Ratcliffe made the final decision after talks involving Glazers, Berrada & Wilcox. Carrick could have #CFC, #Roma & #AVFC games. @UtdDistrict roundtable.io/sports/soccer/…

"The Hawks need to be playing at 1230...WNBA should be 7 o'clock primetime. What we doing??"
The skeptic in me believes they don’t want to pay what it would cost to bring in another manager.
🚨 Manchester United have decided to continue with Michael Carrick as head coach.
Despite Bournemouth and Como defeats, #MUFC hierarchy decides to give Carrick more time to fix things. Player also informed.
Up next: Chelsea-Man United on Saturday. Carrick will be there.
Elite incompetence all the way around. Everyone there is cooked (even if they turn this around).
🚨 Michael Carrick will be given chance to turn results around.
Carrick is taking training at Carrington, staff + players preparing #MUFC for Saturday trip to Chelsea.
More @TheAthleticFC soon.

every new thing we learn about this situation is just a reminder of how people treated this league for a very long time. they're still playing catchup to their own popularity. wild.

I know speaking to the media is one of his job requirements, but I hope he knows that I am just one of tens of thousands of people he inspires, simply by being himself, in front of the camera…
#Browns WR KC Concepcion:
"I play this game with so much heart, so much effort. I'm finally glad that Browns fans and the Browns community was finally able to see what I can bring to this team."

The WNBA’s solution to its completely avoidable Game 6 conflict?
A day game. On a Thursday.
Bad planning, horrible optics, and above all a crappy thing to do to the people who consume your product.

I’m not sure where this Judge DH stuff is coming from. He’s the right fielder. He’s going to tell everyone on God’s green Earth he’s the right fielder. He is going to run to right field even if someone is out there. He’ll get some DH days but he is a two-way player.
Outside of his defense, which is definitely important, Steven Kwan doesn’t move the needle for me. He’s been wildly inconsistent in his career with inconsistent contact quality. I also don’t think a leadoff guy solves the Yankees main issues. Their drop in OBP felt fluky.
