I continued to be bewildered when experienced colleagues are (a) reassured or (b) surprised to see an absence of tachycardia in shocked hypotensive patients, due to haemorrhage or otherwise. Tachycardia is a recognised but by no means expected response.

Don't ask "is there anything else?" Ask the team "What am I missing?" This allows other people to take risks in speaking up by making you fallible. @HumanFact0rz #smacc

Today on #Focus on @abcsydney with @cassiemccullagh we talked about the transformative effect of small molecule inhibitors in the lives of people with cancer. Here’s another example. It was not the Mexican coffee enema. Stay away from quackery & support rigorous #clinicaltrials.
Incredibly irresponsible piece by @DailyMailUK. Article mentions in passing pt w/ mets lung cancer got alectinib then attributes response to $40K trip to Mexico for coffee enemas, sauna, etc. False. Oncologists/advocates pls RT. #lcsm @IASLC @lungevity dailym.ai/2TWypEP
