Winter Preparations: Another Big Step Towards Keeping Our Animals Warm! ❄️🐾 Truckloads of firewood are arriving at our sanctuary! 🪵🚛 Our team is unloading the logs, spreading them under the sun to dry, and storing them for winter. Many more truckloads are still needed! Why so much firewood? We're building our own central heating system to keep our enormous dog shelter, with nearly 100 kennels, and our rescued cats warm. Professional quotations were far beyond our budget, so our team is building the system ourselves, with careful safety measures and testing at every stage. Using firewood, pipes and fans to distribute heat, we hope to create powerful, affordable heating while keeping running costs low. I'm so excited and hopeful! ❤️ If successful, I'll proudly share how we built it, step by step. We're stretching every donated penny to give our animals the warmth they deserve. ❄️ Our Winter Preparation Checklist: 🪵 Firewood — many more truckloads needed 🔥 Central heating — construction and safety testing underway 🐕 Warm dog beds and blankets 🫏 Tailor-made winter gowns 🏠 Weatherproof tarpaulins for dog shelters 🐈 Cosy cat houses and bedding 🐾 Winter protection for hundreds of rescued animals We're only halfway there, and so much remains to be done! Keeping an entire sanctuary warm through the bitter winter is a huge undertaking. 🙏 Please help us finish what we've started. Even £5 makes a difference. ❤️ Please donate and repost our appeal! ❄️ Winter Appeal: tawf.org.uk/winter-appeal-20… ❤️ Donate: tawf.org.uk/donate

💔 Ronnie cannot even stand up without help. How can anyone expect him to pull a cart again? Remember Ronnie, who collapsed while pulling a vegetable cart? His back is so badly affected that he still needs help getting up. Yet his owner, who himself walks with crutches, keeps coming and demanding Ronnie back. Today, even the media contacted us, request us to return him. Ronnie is NOT fit for work. We cannot let him suffer again! 🫏💔 We've appealed repeatedly for help, but we're still nowhere near our target. 🛺 A specially adapted rickshaw for his disabled owner, or 🏪 A small grocery shop to provide him with an alternative livelihood. Please help us give Ronnie the retirement he desperately deserves, without leaving his owner without an income. Even £5 matters. 🙏❤️ Please donate and repost! tawf.org.uk/donate
