Madam @VP bringing the heat! As the vice president said, @RonDeSantis we aren’t going to let you gaslight us and we aren't going to debate what we already know to be an undeniable fact. Period.

I look forward to working with @SenTomDavisSC to try to get #HateCrimes legislation over the finish line. – at South Carolina, USA
I’ll provide an update on the #HateCrimes bill pending in the SC Legislature on Monday, April 3, from 3 to 5 pm at Hilton Head Public Library. No RSVP required, admission is free. Among other things, I will suggest ways to overcome objections of state senators blocking the bill.

The Lord Will Uphold You Psalm 63:8 I have a sign in my office that says, “Lord help me to hang in there”. I cannot tell you how much it has reminded me in my darkest moments that the Lord is upholding me. Trust today that God is holding you up with His powerful right hand!!!

Interesting thread from today's SC House debate over bills regarding what teachers can teach:
House EPW Committee starting hearing to hear testimony on bills concerning curriculum and instructional materials. First speaker is @Molly_Spearman, who says parents should have transparency and teachers should not "be forced to 2nd guess their work....or fear retaliation."

A Prayer for Peace Ish 9:6–7 Gracious Father in heaven, we humbly ask that we may receive your gift of peace today. We ask that the divisions in our communities be peacefully resolved. Help us to never forget that You are the true source of our peace. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Our Continuous Hope is in God Psalm 71:14 (ESV) — 14 But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more. During the storms of life our hope rests in God alone. That type of trust leads to a spirit of praise and thanksgiving.
God is the source of our hope Psalm 146:5 (ESV) — 5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, God’s hope brings security and confidence.
