David Samson's daughter died this week, at 28, nine months after she was diagnosed with brain cancer. This afternoon, I asked David to tell me about Kyra. It was as heartwarming as it was heavy: "The magic of Kyra."

Not that you asked…
Zlatan is a global star.
Thierry a global legend.
@AlexiLalas a former player. His punditry is US based and held to account for a limited audience. That’s not a critique, just so.
Thierry and Zlatan do not consider him a footballing peer by why would they? The quality gap is enormous.
If Alexi can swallow his ego and recognize this, all is well and in order for footballing heirarchy.
Let’s go!

Luis Suárez scored his first hat trick since El Clásico in 2018 as Inter Miami beat Philadelphia Union in a wild 6-4 game.
He wants that World Cup call-up 🇺🇾
fine the referee as well. he changed his officiating style in the 2nd half (blowout bias) towards Orlando
So many ways a club can screw this up. Look at Vancouver and Charlotte right now, even Barcelona.
Inter Miami is doing what it needs to do and then some. Not there yet as far as a European oiled machine but will get there at some point.

National team pathways should always be merit-based and federation-supported. not something families feel they need to “buy into.” It also sends the wrong message to other players grinding without the same access. I’m not saying we shouldn’t have US ID camps, our player pool is global and a huge chunk of eligible talent is US-based.
