Translation: Meta has been secretly tracking millions of Android users’ browsing activity in Chrome and other browsers.
If you use Chrome on Android with any Meta apps installed, you may have been affected.

Facebook/Instagram apps would silently listen on those ports, copy identifiers in real time, and link them to the user logged into the app, thereby allowing them to spy on your browsing habits, unchecked.
This highlights the lengths that data-hungry companies will go to in order to harvest user data, which is why it is important to use a browser that actively blocks these types of threats.

Meta was just caught red-handed using a new tracking technique on Android to covertly spy on people's browsing history, even when in Incognito mode.
DuckDuckGo browser users were not affected, since we block Facebook/Meta trackers to start with.
