About a year ago the Saw Doctors played in Letterkenny. They were brilliant. Sad bastard that I am I brought my original cassette of their big album with me hoping to get them to sign it. They all left immediately after the gig, no joy. Spotted a lad in a lanyard. Asked him if he could get the lads to sign it. He said aye no bother but how will I get the tape back to you? I asked him if he knew big Eamonn who works in the Toyota garage in Tuam.
"Sure I knows Éamonn well, no bother".
Forgot about it.
Thought it was gone forever.
A few days ago, txt message from cousin Éamonn in Tuam. "I've a tape here for ya"...
This arrived today, signed by the lads.
Delighted.
Took a year, but it found me.
Fantastic closing piece for Sunday Game with @JohnnyCash & @SawDoctors providing a moving soundtrack . Niece work @RTEsport
Q. Does anyone know how many episodes of Dancing with the Stars there have been ? #rtetalkingaboutrte

@Ryanair Why do you not have water available in case of a medical emergency ? My only option was to buy a plastic bottle of water or take a drink from one of your hostess own water bottle. Surely this is an oversight?

Some really Good News—Quicksand by has been chosen for the Radio 1 Recommends List i.e tracks to be played in the coming week. Davy's mum Mary took the pic of Paul Cunniffe who wrote ‘Quicksand’ and Davy back in 1980 when the two shams fronted the punk band Blaze X.
