my fandom, while admittedly adopted, it dates back to the 90's. it's been "bad on repeat" for a decide now, but fwiw, I never, ever thought I'd see/hear this. The view on live TV, of the stands to the players' right was stunning, stunning stuff.

I keep forgetting but in production of this season of Amazon’s “All or Nothing” (PL’s version of Hard Knocks) is shooting at ManUtd. 😶 And each time it comes back to me, I can’t tell if I’m thrilled to witness the carnage or if I’d rather watch my own surgical video.

The entirety of last season’s run was built on three things: fixing the obvious, a light schedule & Bruno being on a heater. There was all kinds of redflags to keeping Carrick but they also couldn’t fairly deny him. So, Bruno going flat + poor window = here they are.

Since the 23/24 season, United is 1-2-1 at home(!) v Bournemouth, who are actually behind in the table but can leap ahead w/ an equally much needed win. So now the 2 sides of the “Bruno problem”: he’s both too improv for a team system but also the single source of playmaking 🫣

I’m just as bummed as anyone, but the outrage at Schoder and Garton for selling is misguided. A search for a buyer that would both not tear it down and keep it a performance venue failed. Schoder’s lesson of CD World, as told in @RobertWilonsky story, is an interesting detail.
