Day 2 of our youth multiplier training under the Empowering Ghanaian Youth Against Disinformation Project in Greater Accra ended with participants being introduced to fact-checking fundamentals, fact-checking tools, AI-generated content, and the letsdebunk.org platform.
Yesterday, we kicked off the first of 4 trainings aimed at building youth capacity against #disinformation in Ada, Greater Accra region.
The 35 young trainees selected from various parts of the region are expected to serve as multipliers in their communities after the training.
During the GADC research report launch, speakers discussed the challenges and opportunities involved in tackling disinformation, including the growing role of local languages and AI.
