I deeply love the s1 Hexcore x Viktor dynamic and the way it blurs the line between test subject and scientist Vs toxic intimate relationship, because the Hexcore is sentient yet inhuman. It manipulates and seduces Viktor without words. This song reminds me of themmm. (Thread)

The isolation aspect is maybe the most powerful part to me. The Hexcore is Viktor’s and Viktor’s alone, whether he likes it or not. He thought Jayce might understand but when he realizes he doesn’t, well now it’s just him and this thing. This thing that wants him, and he wants it

Underrated feature of the commune Vik x Jayce dynamic is that it’s a lil evil. Actually a lot evil. Only about half of Viktor is really left, the rest is puppeted by the Hexcore which is trying to get heartbroken Jayce to believe it’s Really Him while persuading him to be evolved
