I still miss these days! Hey Twitter PLN from days gone by, are any of you still out there? Let me know. Perhaps it’s time to try leveraging this platform for meaningful discourse and sharing again. #Onted
Dear Twitter, I miss you. I remember a time when teachers would use this incredible platform called Twitter to share ideas, resources and support to better themselves and their classrooms to inspire the next generation of change makers. What an incredible wasteland X has become.

Reminded me of this blog post I wrote many years ago on my “Learning Line”. Interesting to reflect on it….8 years later, when I’m now at the end of my career. Thanks for the inspiration @ColleenKR

As the new school year begins, I'm thinking about how I started teaching math differently... and how it made a difference. Does your math class look more like column 1 or column 2? Math class reboot. Full blog post- mrcshareseaseblog.wordpress.… #BackToSchool #math #onted

After spending over 30 years in the teaching profession I’ve come to some conclusions. Marks do nothing to foster student achievement. Feedback, in the moment, is the key to success.

That is so true, and why educators should move up the admin and hr ladder or even into politics. Helping others understand this can only be shown by us experienced eduators. Change is hard but so needed.

After spending over 30 years in the teaching profession, I’ve come to some conclusions. Traditional testing practices are the least effective means for determining student achievement. There. I said it.
