Good day in Crawley yesterday. Toured the new Pure Gym. Met with Metrobus to discuss service changes residents had raised with me. Then visited Langley Green Hospital and the Staying Well Centre to explore current facilities and what can be done to improve mental health provision

Very sad to hear of Patrick Stewart's passing. One of our greatest ever actors, he never stopped using his status for causes he believed in, most signficiantly ending domestic violence and PTSD. I was privileged to meet him when he campaigned with us in Crawley in 2010.

Busy day in Westminster, continuing to review the impact of mission-led government at select committee, meeting with aviation workers to move the Abuse Doesn't Fly campaign forward, and holding further hearings on what needs to be done to deliver the affordable housing we need.

With the Afghan Resettlement Scheme winding down and multiple migrant hotels already closing in our area, I am again seeking clarity from Government on when the Arora Hotel will return to normal operation.

Great having the backing of @unitetheunion Labour MPs for the Abuse Doesn't Fly campaign tonight. Aviation workers are pushing for changes to ensure real consequences for passengers who abuse members of staff and ruin flights for everybody, and we're proud to stand with them.
