Do I know any people on twitter that have founded a company in Zürich and could tell me about how it went?
I went through my gmail spam folder and found several personal emails that were definitely not spam. very worrying. Worth checking your folder. If I missed an email, please resend,
Just back from a trip sailing a tall ship across the Caribbean sea. Already missing the simplicity of life, and the stars.

Hello world, @sourishkrout and I are starting a company to help developers learn from how they code -- give this a read if interested! activecove.com/blog/starting… #activecove
Turned off twitter, most social media & most news for a few months, and life was a lot better. Now slowly reconnecting but hopefully in a more curated and mindful way. Looking back at my old tweets, there was a lot of negativity. Apologies, I will try and work on this.
I’m finally mostly recovered from what I assume was Coronavirus. I had most of the symptoms over the course of the week, but difficulty breathing was constant. Paracetamol helped a lot, it let me sleep which let me recover. An unpleasant experience, but I’m glad it wasn’t worse.
It must be pretty embarrassing for @whatsapp seeing people using zoom for personal chats at this time because they couldn’t implement multiperson video or have apps for ipads etc.

For context, the risk of death from corona virus is about equal to 2 wingsuit base jumps for young people (0.2%) and about a game of russian roulette for those over 80 (15%) and somewhere in between for people between those ages.

Looking at the numbers, and rounding a lot, it seems like most people my age will lose 1 in 500 friends, a third of them will lose a grandparent, and 1 in ten will lose a parent. Not fun odds. On the other hand, the voting demographics are going to change a lot.
Are their any maths books that don’t assume that the reader wants to prove or experiment with every point? I’m quite happy to take the authors word that proofs exist.
I don’t understand why airlines can’t have dedicated space per seat in the overhead cabins to avoid the kerfuffle at the gates.
