Westworld S3 is worth watching for the production design & architecture alone. One set--the base of a shadowy tech billionaire played by Vincent Cassel--is Ricardo Bofill's "La Fábrica", an abandoned cement factory that he spent 40 years re-designing into an office/home.

I’ve written about this story for some time, so if you’ll forgive me, a little thread on why this is cool but also… controversial!

(1/7) So apparently some (I hope very few) people online are using the fact that I am the primary developer of the eht-imaging software library (github.com/achael/eht-imagin…) to launch awful and sexist attacks on my colleague and friend Katie Bouman. Stop.

Everyone loves SpaceX, and thinks of Elon as the genius founder that invents new types of rockets that are cheaper, faster, more efficient.

Oh boy.
