The slop grenade proliferation into Linear tickets makes building such a worse experience.
Rather than someone just saying "can you redesign this feature" you get 100 lines of gibberish.

A big that has changed for me is what I call "Execution Risk"
If you were at the leads meeting 10 years ago and said:
"For all of next month, we're going to do all this data science, and make this hyper personalized ads, and build landing pages for 100 different clusters..."
Everyone would have rolled their eyes and the CEO would say this sounds like BS and a waste of time.
Fighting for it would mean too much execution risk (resources required to actually do the work) and essentially reputation risk. If it failed, you we're an idiot.
Now, you can do the complex things and look like an idiot in a single day!
Well well well...
Rocket fuel: Seattle-area startups raise a record $3.5B as national VC funding cools geekwire.com/2026/rocket-fue…
For my GTM friends in Europe.
I worked with @jaywilder for years. He is an awesome colleague and extremely smart marketing leader. I would work with him again in a second.
He has a new open for Growth Marketing Lead:

Loving my new commute.
1 mile walk through the forest to the new train stop at Pinehurst then 20 mins to Pioneer Square.
Excited to be talking Personalization of B2B Ads with AI tomorrow evening as part of AI Tinkerers Seattle.
The event starts at 5PM. If you're around, come say hi!

Watching an agent go screenshot → think → click → screenshot for a task I’ve done 100 times drives me crazy.
It’s so slow.
Try this instead: record your actions with this Chrome extension (link in next tweet) and then hand your agent the recording as a skill.
It makes this process much faster.
The agent can just use browser elements as targets, vs the screenshot → think → click loop.
Chrome extension to record redundant web tasks and convert them to skills.

TIL this old steam plant in Seattle, built in 1890, supplied steam heat to a hundreds of businesses and hotels in downtown for more than 100 years.
I thought they produced only electricity and did not know they had an entire heat system to each business.
Not a great pic, but one of my favorite buildings in Pioneer Square in the winding Western Ave.
Teams should do more documentary style story telling when they launch their product. I would love watching a 45 min movie about the materialization of Instinct with @noahrshinn.
Could drive a ton of emotional investment in products/founding teams.
@aviel and @dacort did a good job telling the story leading up to Simply Measured. Feels like teams could take that further these days.
I've been building at PSL over the past month and blessed to get paired up with @CalebJohn24 to build some demand gen machines.
It's crazy how much you can learn working side by side by with someone for a few weeks. Literally teaching me a better/faster/smarter way to build every single thing.
Thank you Caleb!
So nice to have the rain and clouds return to Seattle.
Time to get my fireplace all ready, and switch back to Radiohead and Modest Mouse for the morning commute.
I'm guessing you already do this, but seems like you can just get a notification for every new building permit that hits your ICP and pitch the architect/developer.
I honestly cannot fathom someone NOT wanting something like this on their new building.
Honestly, build a "pay to reach" me application @xmtp_ is a killer idea. Want to reach me? Easy, it's $10 USDC.
Cold outreach is not dead. But free cold outreach is.
