I've seen many people saying the tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park should have been shot when the man entered its enclosure.
I couldn't disagree more.
From the footage I've seen, it looks extremely difficult to even get into that enclosure in the first place.
And from what I've heard, the staff did an incredible job reacting as quickly as they did, while showing restraint and avoiding killing an innocent tiger.
These are apex predators. They are extremely dangerous animals that will naturally attack humans when confronted in their territory.
Hopefully this magnificent animal isn't put down in the aftermath of this tragedy.
The tiger did nothing wrong.

Just read up on whole issue about Nobel winner Navi Pillay providing names of Uyghur dissidents to China & she did it! Knowingly! Only UN defence is it was ‘standard bureaucratic protocol’ to inform China of attendees of human rights events & frankly that’s an absurd defence.
