Curious what happened behind the scene of AWS Community Day DACH? How did we craft the talks and content so you could enjoy such a high quality event?

Hey @SessionizeCom , what's the best way to provide feedback and suggestion about new features?

Saving costs with better connectivity in AWS VPC.
Is that possible? Yes! At the AWS Community Day DACH, I will share my experiences in building advanced VPC architectures.
Will I see you on the 17th of September in Munich?

After giving it a lot of thought, we made the decision to discontinue new access to a small number of services, including AWS CodeCommit.
While we are no longer onboarding new customers to these services, there are no plans to change the features or experience you get today, including keeping them secure and reliable.
We also support migrations to other AWS or third-party solutions better aligned with your evolving needs. Keep the feedback coming. We’re always listening.
Hey AWS builders, before you go on vacation, don't forget to register to the AWS Community Day DACH in Munich:

Congratulations @osterjour for organizing the AWS UserGroup Munich for 10 years!! According to meetup.com I joined the first time in 2016 (actually as speaker), but I think I sneaked in already earlier.
To the Munich folks: See you later!

Starting the week with two ugly bugs:
1) Cloudformation allows to update the same TaskDefinition Family from multiple stacks 🤯
2) EcsRunTask task in StepFunctions CDK references task definition only by family, w/out revision 🤦♂️

We made it! We selected 28 awesome talks out of 240+ submissions. Many hours were invested and I will write a blog post about our process soon.
Watch aws-community-day.de/ as our speakers will soon show up there

Couldn’t say it better…
Serverless shifts complexity from ops to system design.
While I'm super happy with this shift, I'm less and less convinced that most devs will be happy with, or even have the skillset to make the shift...
Ops at scale is hard, but there's a low entry point. Anyone can run an app on a server, even if that's far from what we'd reasonably consider as "production-ready".
On the other hand, system design is hard even at the entry level. Even a toy project can present you with tough decisions and trade-offs to consider 🤔
@ghohpe's serverless illusion is sinking in...
Hey @ingdiba please stop sending me advertisement as push notification in your app.
One more and we will already have as many submissions as last year's total. This is crazy and I'm looking already forward to it (although it will be hard to pick). And yes, the Call for Papers is still open until Sunday June 2nd! #AwsCommunity

What options do I have if I want to throttle parallel executions of a StepFunction? The SF is triggered by a queue and spikes should be throttled to not run into some other AWS rate limits. #AWS
Great to see that my blog post about refactoring CDK applications is part of this issue
🗞️ The Serverless Terminal newsletter issue #55 is out! 🗞️
This issue calls out the fact about S3 billing for unauthorised requests. And also AWS Amplify had a busy and amazing updates filled week.
This month the spotlight is on Event Driven Architecture

The @awscloud summit is kicking off - looking forward to a 2nd day with our great speakers in Berlin - Sana, Richard, @RaphaelManke, @aaronwalker and @pubudusj !
Anyone else with random (but regular) 504 errors triggered by the EventBridge integration in API Gateway? It's a new setup but as everything is managed I don't expect regular 5xx errors.
